7. What do you think about the different lecturers/teachers?Matrisfråga- Ok, this might feel a stretch but I don"t want to go to school to waste my time, which I feel I do when you start feeling that the teacher doesn"t want to be there himself.»
- At least to me Jonas Wärnberg"s lectures were too difficult to understand.»
- As Sven was the teacher we had the most lectures with it was easier to do a fair judgement»
- The last course about GDI and future developments was of great interest too.»
- Arjan"s lectures were kind of hard to grasp at first, but reading the slides afterwords was very good for learning and udnerstanding.»

- In the beginning it is not clear what to do exactly on assignment 3. Ithought that I had to do more on the matlab program, but it was "only" understanding and interpreting the plots. Should be mentioned.»
- Excellent activities for learning clue things from the course. However, the assignments deadlines are too close to each other. It may be good to give the first assignment sooner and not give the second until the first one had been handed in. This causes stress!»
- Dissasembly lad missed due to late arrival»
- can be improved. at the time it felt more like a disassembling exercise at a mechanic shop than an engineering investigation.»
- Assignments were rather to learn how to do presentations/reports than to understand the subject.
I"d like better: calculation-exercises»
- The disassembly of the engine was really good. Anyone that has a course/working with Internal combustion engines should know how an engine looks like. The first assignment was really interesting as it gave an insight on how an engine should operate.»
- Lab & 1st assignment: no comment, just excellent.
Ass 2: 1st law of thermodynamics is a minimum at our level, it is not that hard. Don"t present it like "we know it"s hard". It might be great to make a correction in the end of the presentations, since we got a bit confused between every student"s presentation, on what is right and what is wrong.

Genomsnitt: 3.1 - Allow every student his own formulary to bring with in the midterm. You can limit the number of sheets to 2 e.g, or everyone has to hand it in. The book is expencive and not realy needed in the midterm but a student will not come to exam without it (some mentally thing :-)» (Some extent)
- Small text in Heywood makes it hard to read, but pictures and equations was ok.» (Some extent)
- maybe its time to move on from Heywood to a more modern textbook and assignments that are more now than from the 80"s. Also the scope of the problems should be broadened beyond only tricky problem solving of thermodynamic equations.» (Large extent)

- Arjan and Jonas can always prepare their lectures better. Same goes with the teaching assistants. The class room session material must be organized and relating, not random un-connecting pieces of information.»

- Engine control lecture: too dense for a 2-hour lecture (focus should be put on quality and not quantity, as it is for the rest of this course).
An additional lab, later in the course.
Go deeper into details when commenting our oral presentations and go actually beyond the initial task to get this time even more interesting. »
- Assignment 2 must be explained more clearly when it is being introduced.»
- The engine control course is a bit hard to follow (too much informations on each slide).»
- The assignments should be returned before the exam week or at least before the next study period starts.»
- Jonas Wärnberg lecture was where fact saturated and was too much to take in on one lecture. It could be a little less deep and I think it would be awsome.»
- Guest lecturers and assistants might be more motivated & convinced of what they say during their teaching.»
