Goals and Goal Fulfillment

The course PM states the course goals in terms of learning outcomes, i.e. knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be acquired by the students during the course.
Learning Outcome:
The course participants will gain knowledge of strategy and change theories and quality inspired improvement approaches and an in-depth understanding of one more narrow area. They will also have an ability to critically view consultants packaging of change and improvement project offerings.

- Most articles were interesting, the lectures on the other hand were not as good. » (Some extent)

8. To what extent did the guest lectures contribute to your learning?

Matrisfråga

- Sari"s presentation were good in the beginning but she lost the group in the end. (Funny when she is there to talk about energy). Her slides contains to much information. I missed Marcus, because the course-pm where not correct. Clas had some interesting thoughts but I think many left after his first hour because they couldn"t understand what he was trying to say (it became clearer his second hour). I missed the first half of Elin"s presentation for the same reason that I missed Marcus, it"s too bad because I had really looked forward to see her presentation. Harald, why was he there? I did not get anything out of his presentation. Stefan and Magnus, well I was to bad they where on the same day as Kårensdag, because they had a good message. »

- It was all a mess. Please keep to the time you have decided on in the course-pm or at least post it on the web page if there are any changes (after the first incident with guest lecturers starting earlier I think everyone where keeping an eye on the web). Also be consistent in your message ex in the course-pm it is printed "Attendance at literature seminars is not compulsory, however it is highly recommended as the degree of activity can influence the grading." But in the schedule it is printed as mandatory to attend.. » (Small extent)

- sverker should prepare and think about the seminars more, so more learning and less "interesting small talks" will be done. Also, what is it with that he"s counting how many things yu have said?»

- A few times we did not discuss all the articles we had read to the seminar, I think it could be better if the students got clear instructions that they had to make questions for all articles at the seminar or if the teacher picked good questions form all articles from the ones we handled in before the seminar. »

- The number of cumpulsory lectures could be reduced. At the moment, they don"t contribute that much to the learning and it is only time consuming to listen to something that does not relate to what we are supposed to learn (i.e. the subject of the term paper). Only makes it more difficult to plan for interviews etc.»
- The guest lectures have to be better, the guest lecturers needs to get better information about the course so that they can have a better dialog with the students. Please pick guestlectures who knows how to keep peoples attention and knows how to communicate to a large group of people. »
