- Of course this depends on the student in terms of mathematical background and the workload in other courses. However, what made this course demanding in general was the few organized meetings. I think in addition to lectures, students need other ways of processing the inormation such as weekly assignments. » (Demanding)

- I think they are very good in combination with the book, however, I think weekly assignments would have facilitated the understanding.» (good to have them)

- There are a lot of concepts and different formulas in the course, and to much material should therefore not be squeezed into each lecture. I think the amount covered in each lecture was just right and you were able to take it in and process it without it being to much» (Just about right on average)

- the teacher did very little more than just read from his lecture notes and copy them to the black board...» (rather poor)
- Det hade varit bättre att förklara hur man räknar på exemplena istället för att skriva upp en massa siffror som man inte vet var de kommer ifrån, men det var bra med den mer övergripande förståelsen.» (rather good)

- I did not have time to finish it.»
- A little stressful to hand it in so close to the exam but maybe I sould have started earlier.»

- Good but at least for us the hardest part was to prove the estimated value of MSB and MSW wich didnt feel relevant to the course »

12. Which parts of the course did you find difficult?

- -Bayesian inference -MME and MLE -categorical data»
- All parts were at te right level.»
- chapter 7,each part, each test wasnt hard to understand or use but when you got a problem to solve it was really hard to determ wich method to use.»
- The fact that there are so many different formulas, test etc. that can be applied in very similar situations. The concepts and ideas aren"t very hard to grasp, but the sheer amount of almost identical situations that require different approaches is a bit overwhelming»

- Det svåraste var att det var så många olika fall (och därmed oika förutsättningar, formler osv.) av t.ex. hypotestest att hålla reda på.»

- This is something I regret, however, I think an additional way of processing would have made understand the need toseek help at an early stage. What finally happened was that I prioritized the course that I was doing in parallel and realized it too late. » (I did not seek help)

- Jag tyckte att tentan var svårare än tidigare tentor som låg på hemsidan. Det var flera frågor som jag tyckte var lite väl specifika och man var tvungen att ha stött på just en sådan fråga förut för att klara dem. » (fair)

- I think that the exam could have had some more questions of "standard" type. In my opinion, it lacked some of the usual types of questions that could be found on earlier exams and instead the questions were on quite specific and minor parts of the course. Also, in general you had to get every part of the questions right (or almost right) to be able to get points on the other parts , where in earlier exams you could pass 3 out of 4 parts of one question since they were not directly related.» (Fair)
- I think the topics are highly relevant to understand whichtypes of tests to apply in different situations.» (Good)

16. Other comments/suggestions for how the course can be improved?

- I think there is a strong requirement for assignments. One option could be to hand out articles where statistical analysis has been used and ask the students to motivate why the specific tests in that article were used. »
