- I think the shipping project is rather good that it can assess whether we have reached the goals.» (To some extent)
- The examination had very standard questions. I think that, even if they covered a quite wide range of the subjects treated during the course, some more involving questions, meant more to understand how deeply the student had understood the matter rather than how much he had studied, would be of some use. » (To some extent)

- There was no red line troughout the course, hard to know on what to emphathise because it is a very thick book and a wide spread of information. study questions would be appreciated.» (To some extent)
- I guess. There were a lot of worrying before hand since its not a course that we as engineering students are used to , so a lot of us thought that the exam would be very hard. It turned out it wasn"t like we thought. Its hard to say if it was because the exam was easy or if we just worried before hand.» (I don"t know/have not been examined yet)

- the time for the port visit. It would be more useful to have it later when there are some progress with the lectures so the it would be more interesting for the students and they actually understand better what is taking place at the port. »

- The litterature should definitaly be changed. The author wrote the same thngs over and over again. You could easily break down the 800 pages to about 50 that were useful. The worst litterature I have had during my 4 years at Chalmers. »

- Some of the guest lecturers repeat at some extent information given by other lecturers or in the lectures. It would be nice if they could coordinate themselves so that they overall had more time to cover their areas of expertise. »

- The time is not enough to cover all the book. The contents are not in depth~»
- Give some explanation in advance about the guest lectures and cargo simulation. Why are these people here and what do you want us to learn from it.»
- I think that the professor, having a large experience in the matter, could allow herself to get a little bit further off from keeping strictly close to the book. Examples such the "comparative and absolute advantage" are time-consuming and can be easily be understood reading the book. The real added value of the professor is that she can also talk from her higher knowledge and experience. Thus, going a little bit more in the direction of guest lecturers, while keeping the custum of giving study advice on which chapters are the most relevant on the book»

- It is sort of "trivial knowledge" in the shipping business, which is very good to know and not always so easy to know if you haven"t been in the marine transport sector.» (Yes (to a large extent))

- Var inte alltid så sammanhängande. Den "röda tråden" saknades. Skulle även underlätta referenser med att på alla powerpoints hänvisa behandlade kapitel i kurslitteraturen. » (Some extent)

- Var kul, fast lite väl "light". Kunde ha gjorts till ett större och mer omfattande projekt.» (Some extent)
- The project could have been a bit more sturcturized. Just a thing like the different trips/cargoes came out very strange when you printed them on paper that made it difficult to handle.» (Large extent)
- Vore bättre om man inte fick ett färdigt dokument utan hade genomgång i grupp med dig. Presentationerna inför helklass var helt meningslöst. 10 grupper som säger samma sak?» (Large extent)
- Only one comment: it was not clear how the project was supposed to be presented: as the balance of a real company, as a school project, as a comedy show (I"ve seen all the three). Probably a short explanation about this matter would have good use» (Great extent)

- Probably the worst book so far. 750 pages contained about 100 usefull pages and 650 pages fill-up.» (Small extent)

- I liked Ronnie at first but at the end he was just to much.» (?)
- Prof"s Ulvfarsson lecture was a little bit chaotic, and it was not easy to connect it to the rest of the course. Hanzén"s lecture was very interesting, especially the power point presentation with a real case experience. But I can"t prevent myself to point out that in some of his statments there have been some slightly insulting references to "stupid" and "Mickey Mouse" countries that I think could be avoided. He could have made his position clear in a more respectful way. His overall performance, however, was quite positive and I would advice to repeat the experience in the next year course.» (?)

Constructive criticism is a gift. Do you have such a gift for me?

- More lectures would be better instead of just asking us to read parts of the literacture.»
- The shipping project is helpful for me to master the maritime shipping knowledge. But the course materials are not very detailed,I think~Thank you very much again for giving us the excellent course!»
- Vad jag har förstått så har instutionen varit underbemannad nu under hösten. Hade Anna haft möjlighet att spendera mer tid på kursen hade kvaltiten ökat. »
- You said that it was necassasery to read the whole book, but yet you hardly had any questions that was outside the lecturs. Felt that I wasted alot of time getting to know the wrong information. »
- Change the course litterature. The litterature was not good at all!»
- Change the litterature and don"t underestimate the students. Most of us has read both economics and logistics during our bachelor so we are not unfamiliar with economic and logistics expressions. Keep up the enthusiasm.»
- Reading a 700-page book for the exam is pretty much impossible, so while studying, I skipped some of the chapters which I presumed you would not ask questions from or I thought were into too much detailed. It was a good guess, and there were no questions from these parts in the exam, but I could suggest officially leaving out some of the chapters of the book so that students do not freak out. Also, there were lots of times in lectures that you were trying to "wake us up". I got the impression that you thought we were sleepy because you were not good at lecturing, but I personally think this is not the case. You are not a bad teacher, we are students, that"s all :) So in the following years, I would recommend being more confident in classroom. Thank you for this good course.»
- This course made an very unprofessional impression. Poor study material (the book) and the lectures didn"t give too much either. A lot of hours of work for very little learning.»
