Genomsnitt: 4.34 - Okey, the course is not horrible. But I am highly skeptical to teaching carried out in this way. Most students sleep through the lectures, and that is because it is so painfully boring. The material is "flat". Everything is equally important and we don"t ever dig deeper, everything is one the same level. The course should change perspective. Let the students do something, build on what is though on the lectures. More labs, or group projects. I learned most from talking in groups, trying to come up with things together. And really, that is not very advance pedagogic, we learn more if we are engaged. Now it is like we watch tv for 40 hours, of course we learn something but we could learn so much more.» (Fair) 14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?- The labs»- The case studies are interesting. Maybe we could build on them more. In groups make our own ariane-5 model?» - The content and lab should be reserved.» - Guest lectures» - The whole course as it is organized is very good, especially the guest lectures.» - The visiting lecturers was a great addtion.» - Everything. The course organization was perfect, from labs to exercises and lectures.» - The guest speaker and one lab session.» - I was very satisfied with the course» - prepare the prelecture and postlecture questions» - website, guest lectures» - For next time hope it will be nice if they continue like this and i want to advice them to keep the good work.» 15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Think about how the math part could be broader. The last lectures should be put in a larger concept which seemd to be missing this time around.»- Not only lectures that are mostly reading from slides. The teacher rarely says anything that isn"t on the slides. It turns out quite sleepy then.» - The part of exercise should be changed. Students should focus on some typical problems instead of being given answers to lots of problems» - More emphasis on excercises with petri nets.» - Nothing.» - Nothing» - Cut down the study material, introduce more quest speakers and even cut down the second lab. A review session is also helpful before the exams, in fact we should have at least 2-3 classes for review before the exams.» - sharpe tool available on GNU/Linux labs too.» - Exercise sessions» - nothing» - instead of two lab assignments if there was just one assignment, we would have more time to study and get ready for exam so I recommend to decrease the number of lab assignments to 1.» - only one report to hand in?» - Nothing just continue the good work.» - Give some sort of credit or bonus for good reports, or reduce the minimum number of words.» 16. Additional comments- Good work!»- If students are sleeping, something is wrong. Most of us want to learn, so it is too bad when that potential isn"t used. » - I don"t know the field, but maybe it could be possible to do or show some "real" examples of the software redundancy concepts (actual code).» - .» - The course presentation was perfect, we had enough lab assistants, teaching assistants and enough class exercises. I just wish the computer networks course should adapt this practice next year.» - I want to thank thw whole team the Professoo the the lab and the excercice assistant team and please pass my respect for them and I saw diffrent kinds of teacher in my life time but they are the best and in my ranking list they are number one.» - The first two questions from the exam were too difficult, considering the fact that we NEVER did "markovs" like that in the exercise lectures. There were always much simpler ones. So this is not right. If you put that on the exam, it is fair to do that kind of exercise in class as well.»
