- The workload has been OK. One have to consider that this is a Master programme, and it requires tough work.» (Around 30 hours/week)

- A lot of the time was spent in group assignments. Planning when to meet and get the time to finnish the assignments in time was the most stressful. This since we often needed to do something both before and after the seminar, and in some cases even in between. - I think, personally, the course could have been more operational in it´,s content. Could have involved a more concrete description of the actors involved in SCM. Third party logistics, Freight Forewarders, Freight rates, Customs/Laws, container standards etc. Im sure this was an overview, but still Im not sure we will ever learn on this basic operational level...! This course was good, but I hope we will learn those things aswell!» (No, the goals are set too low)

- Hard to tell, you can not question everything in the exam.» (To some extent)
- The exam demanded more course explicit knowledge ("by heart") than course comprehension. But I guess that at this stage we cannot create much concerning SCM.» (To some extent)

- Skitbra tenta. var lite lurigt att veta om man skulle beskriva medtoder eller generel teori i fråga 2 och 5. Övriga var lättare att förstå vad man skulle svara (i de fall man kom på det). - It is good to do something individual, it is very rare in this kind of education.»
- The many group assignments took a lot of time, and therefore it was difficult to also find time to study during the course. Although, having done the exam a lot of questions where based on the assignments. Maybe inform that the work put into the assignments will help on exam. (Some teachers have assignments for some parts and then they test other parts of the course on the exam.) Looking back at guest lectures and study visits some could be skipped. (Volvo study visit, and the lecture provided by Sony Ericsson was only few parts that where interesting.»
- I usually have a lots of traditiolnal lectures, no seminar, a few group assignments, hardly one personnal assignment and no study visit, what may explain my point of view about Swedish way of teaching... I just need some time to assimilate it.»
- One individual assignment is good. Definetly not more group assignments.»
- Seminars and guest lectures are good, but depends totally of the subject/person ie Obermeyer and IMI indoor climate were great!»

12. How do you perceive the following parts of the course? Please give some brief comments if you rank any part as less than good.

- IHM business runner was a pretty fun game and a good way to get to know the group but i didn"t think i got use for what I learned in this course. The reason my answer is "ok" on the "SCM knowledge"-seminar is simular to my comment about the business runner game. What i learnt from it I didn"t get so much use for in this course.»
- Lecture just give a brif look on subject and skip throug them. During the preparation to the exam, from slides it was not clear if everything is important, what was some slides for. But Peter"s slides was much more better then others (still can be improved)!»
- The SCM Knowledge seminar did not feel relevant for the course and it was too much already at that time. The team development seminar was kind of nice but it did not give anything. Nothing was new and the exercises was too general.»
- Lectures about Suppliers were perhaps too dense.»
- Too theoretical. People would have learned more if it was on a more concrete level and occationally we could have gone deeper!»
- The assignment evaluating a master thesis was the only assignment I thought was a little bit unnecessary, but it might be more rewarding for exchange students than for old Chalmers students.»

- Sport Obermeyer - seminar was good and covered the analysis of the case. But since the task was given for groups, it would be good to receive also some kind of more personal (group based) feedback of our papers. Lectures, purchasing and supply networks - topic is rather interesting but also rather theoretical and philosophical in terms of how to approach those issues. Therefore they tended to be hard to follow. So, personally I lost track of presented topics in lectures quite fast and felt much more comfortable reading them on my own. Maybe cover those more briefly in lectures or use more illustrative examples.»
- The IT lecture did not focus on the related information from the literature (the Simchi-Levi, ...) The sportObermeyer could be more described before we start the job. »
- Viss upprepning av det som sagt tidigare under dagen, mer koordinerat med Ihre och de andra. Tror inte riktigt meningen med Supply Chain Management seminariet gick fram innan, det är rätt bra att ha en slags sammanfattning av den första delen men kanske bör det framgå tydligare vad tanken bakom är. »
- Team development should have been late week 1 or week 2, now it was too late in the quarter. Ok contents, was the handin needed?»

- I did not really ask for some help, but it was clear that the opportunities for that were numerous, all over the quarter.» (Very good)

- Seminarierna med supply chain spelet, IHM mfl var väldigt givande, speciellt tidigt i kursen. Att ha ett invidivuellt term paper var också vädigt givande eftersom vi inte har haft några individuella uppgifter tidigare och även om det är bra att kunna arbeta i grupp måste man kunna göra något på egen hand också. Upplägget på tentan var bra, helt klart att föredra med jämt fördelade poäng mellan frågorna än några jättestora och några jättesmå. »

18. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Clearer instructions of what was expected for each seminar (words, layout, content) »
- team development should be in the beginning or not at all and the exercise was not really relevant and the hand in is definitely unnecessary. Also the coherence etc of the master thesis felt irrelevant!»

- Schenker guest lecture was very poor on useful information, he was only talking about their company (comersial). The development seminare, could be improved, if wasn"t adding any new knowledge for me but it was a nice day (relaxing form other work in the course) but we haven"t finished yet so maybe it ends bettre. »
- I would put the team developing assignment in the beginning of the course so that it creates an opportunity for students to get to know eachother.»
