- A previous course hosted by the same lecturer is infamous for having bad exams and tacky correction. Since the exam has not yet taken place I cannot tell if this is the case now as well, but it seems less likely. » (Yes, definitely, I don"t know/have not been examined yet)
- Found it hard to formulate some problems, specially the DP question. Feel like I understand the subject but I did not have the chance to express it as I was unable to formulate the problem. I have a feeling that I will be retaking the exam in August. Never the less, I do not think the exam was unfair.» (Yes, definitely)

- I was unable to attend all the lectures due to a collision with a course that was mandatory to attend workshops in. I missed all teaching that was held on Wednesdays. It is a shame as I really enjoyed the lectures I was able to sit and if I would have had a choice I would much rather have attended the algorithm course.» (Large extent)

- The only thing not good with it was the labs, since this required you to be two people in each lab group. If you are not two people, you run into great trouble.» (Rather well)

- The laborations were a major part of the course and the examinator was only available through e-mail, and there were no lab-sessions where we could ask for help. This was the worst part of the course.» (Very poor)

- The practise sessions I went to were understaffed, barely helping me. So I just had to think more myself and look it up online. » (Rather poor)
- It should clearly stand who we are to contact and when we can do so, especially in searching for tips for the assignments.» (Rather poor)
- You could ask the lecturer och the assistents but it was not very clear that you were allowed to do that. There should be some encouragement to seek help because I thought that this course was hard. Encouragement in form of lab sessions where you really can ask teachers and assistants questions or at least clear info on the homepage where it says that you can get in touch with someone to get helt.» (Rather poor)
- It was ok but it would be much better if the course had scheduled assignment help, where you could talk with the assistants and the examinator.» (Rather good)

13. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Mer tillfällen där man kan få hjälp med labbarna, och ändra så att man kan skicka in retuerer istället för att endast gradera efter en inlämmning.»
- Perhaps have a hand in with some programming. It would make the course somewhat more practical and show the difference between theoretical analysis and practical results. »
- I believe that the fire system is a little irritating if you miss a lab-partner.»
- The time set out for the assignments was a bit too short... maybe fewer assignment and more time in between.»
- The lab system. Very weird system where it is possible to get 0 points and not get a chance to do submit again. If this system should be preserved I think it"s important that all submissions where the students has made an clear attempt to solve the problem should get at least 1 point. Zero should only occur when it"s obvious no time was spent or nothing at all were handled in.»
- I think there should be lab sessions each week. At least one that is at the end of the week. This is for students to come and ask questions regarding the labs.»
- More opportunities to get help and maybe easier assignments.»
- Lab sessions with supervisors available is a must if you want to keep the lab assignments as hard as they were.»

- The other course I read this semester completely collided in terms of lectures. This made both courses hard to cope with since I didn"t get complete coverage in either of them.»
