Genomsnitt: 3.5 - Not at all feels a little harsh perhaps but to be honest I am deeply disappointed in the master"s programme in product development. I am not sure what results you will get from this survey, but I know that we are several students from Chalmers who are disappointed in at least most of the mandatory courses in the programme. We feel that we learn way too little and many of us prioritize the elective courses, some of us also study or have thought of studying extra courses since the mandatory courses have been of too low quality.» (Not at all)
- There is a lot of (too much) repetition from the bachelor. Would have been nice with more "new" knowledge. Some lectures feels like a waste of time. Also, some of the mandatory and recommended courses are very similar.» (Quite meaningful)

- I do not feel that the courses in the programme have given me the amount of knowledge that you can expect from a master"s programme. However, to have English as the main language and to meet people from around the world have been interesting and rewarding.» (Somewhat)

Genomsnitt: 2.85 - I had way higher expectations on this programme. We as students have chosen this programme since we are interested in this area and we are willing to spend time, money and effort on this education so please raise the bar for the mandatory courses and make our time here worthwhile. I sometimes ask myself "what will I be good at after I graduate?" and unfortunately I feel that I will only have a minor or no edge against students from other master"s programmes when it comes to getting a job in the product development area. If we compare an MPPDE student with e.g. an MPSYS student, both having a background from M or possibly Z bachelor studies (CTH), then MPSYS students basically have the same knowledge about PD that we (MPPDE) have, but the difference is that they have an area in which they are specialized and therefore they might even be more attractive to a PD employer than we are.» (No, not at all)

Genomsnitt: 4.6 - The master"s studies should be the most advanced and interesting but the compulsory courses here at MPPDE have mainly been about common sense and much of the time spent feels wasted. My personal opinion is that the market analysis course was alright, but the other courses need a lot of improvement.» (Poor)

However I have had a feeling throughout the programme that I am putting in a lot of time on more or less completely unnecessary things that do not teach me anything for my life as an engineer. Apart from some periods of time I think the work load has been rather low (which might not be a bad thing though since it gives you time to get to know the students from other countries etc.) » (?)

- In some course we felt there is not enough time to read the literature in depth. The course forced us to scan through the books but not in depth. If I want to get involved into a subject with an intention of further research I have no choice rather than taking a break from the study period.» (High)

- I have been to to 2 course evaluations and have been very impressed by how open the course teacher is to inputs to make his course better and convenient for his students.» (Yes, definetly)

Our ideas and thoughts towards the project was denied or not considered. While most of the time the conversation happens in Swedish, we have no idea of whats happening although we are trying to cope with basic Swedish its very hard to understand and get involved. The issue has been discussed within the team several times but there was no improvement towards it and we are forced to do what they say. I have work experience with global companies and traveled around the world for my work. I find it difficult to work and get involved with Swedish students.» (Yes, discriminations)
