I"d like to see more cooperation between the industry and the fluid dynamics part in the program. I"ve heard there are a few visits to some companies for those taking the solid courses, but so far none for us doing fluid courses. As far as I know, Volvo has one of the most modern windtunnels in the world... Maybe that is something to work on?
I also think that this questionnaire could be a litte longer and have a few more questions. » (Very meaningful)

- We get the "tools" to solve problems, as some lecturers say...but i don"t know if that is all that a professional engineer needs. We haven"t had much contact with them in the courses.» (Yes)

Genomsnitt: 4.68 - The course literature is very poor. I rather spend money of texts that I understand then get the employees literature, which most often is to short and concise. The pedagogical capacaty of the writers is not that great.
Another detail is that all courses concist of assignments, most of which is well prepared, but we never get any reflection by the teacher of our analysis. How are one supposed to know whats right and not. I would like that after an assignment the examinator upload a sort of "completion" paper, the same sort as the thesis... I really think this is important for our learning and understandning. Its like calculating problems and never no the right answere. Also important for motivation to perform in the next assignments.

- Generally I think the standard is high. But I think that some of the lecturers hast to rethink and separate training from education, because they are not the same thing. What should be done at MPAME (in my mind) is 90% education and 10% training.» (Very good)

Genomsnitt: 3.86 - There seems to be a total lack of pedagogical training for the teachers. Sure they know their respective area very well, but I"d say that half of them are totally oblivious to any pedagogical thinking. » (Rather poor)
- If I want to ask a professor something I can almost always go to thier room or email them a quastion. If they have time they help me or we make another apointment. » (Very good)
- Some lecturers, which has more duties other than research, e.g division leader are harder to find sometimes which can be problematic in some courses.» (Very good)

- I"d like to say most of the lecturers/teachers/professors are helpful and want to help as much as possible. I understand that some of them has alot to do also and I have no problem if they tell me to come back later.
But there is clearly a difference between the lecturers how much the they like to educate us students, and how much they like to do their own research. That may be worth mentioning since the courses the I like the most, is often the courses that has an inspiring lecturer who really want his/her students to learn.» (Respectful, Friendly, Helpful)

- I believe the programme management takes them seriously but the teachers often do not. Either the teacher is already open to suggestions and changes, in this case the evaluatuions do not contribute much, but many teachers do not care about the evaluations and do not change things anyway.» (Not at all)
- Most of the course evaluation sessions are just a way for the professor tio find excuses for why the students have answerd the way they have done.» (Not at all)
- In general the course evaluations are taken seriously and have meaning for both the programme and the students. In one or two courses (in the M Bachelor programme), however, there are "rockstarts" that don"t pay attention to the students opinion even at the course evaluation meetings. - I know a professor that told everyone in class something like "These days the examination is anonymous, but I will revisit everyones exam after a first correction in order to compensate for how I feel that you have participated throughout the lectures and so on and so on like this".
