- This was quite a time consuming module with so many assignments due. The guidance given was not always the clearest and it would have been good to know that this gives option for freedom and creativity. Some of the classes like paper workshop that had to be repeated were extremely slow to do at home again and could have perhaps been in a class over 2 days.» (Around 25 hours/week)

- Some people are very good at art or CAD but this was not the goal in my eyes, it is the understanding process within the module, so i feel a presentation is a good idea as well as the reflective report, but feedback along the way would be preferred.» (To some extent)

- Some of the material was a bit difficult but had good content. Would be interesting so see more books. Perhaps to give tips on alternative sources to read from.» (Some extent)

- There were for example four different documents about what to actually hand in, and you never knew before hand what you were expected to hand in at the end of the course. There were several lectures where the lecturer was hours too late. » (Very badly)

- The class was extremely helpful with a mixture of Swedish, international and students that did previous work of this type. It was good to work with different backgrounds than just straight engineering » (Very well)

- It was very stressful that we did not know from the beginning how many assignments there were. And it was very difficult to know how much time we were supposed to spend on each one. The afterwork of the paper workshop took me over 20 hours and it wasn"t even called an assignment. You never knew before hand when you went to a lecture or an assignment if you would be given a lot more work or no work at all. I think I overworked a lot of the tasks because I did not understand they were such a small part of the course. » (High)

- Tell before hand what is supposed to be handed in at the end of the course! »
- tell the students how many assignment that are gonna be done much better description of assignment, if it is free thinking or not. »
- The number of exercises and a better structure available on web home page. Better material for the catia.»
- Adressing what has to be handed in and when already when the course starts to be able to plan ones time. »
- The assignments. More focus on using the tools learnt to apply design languages to concepts or something similar. »

- The administrator’,s attitude towards students. She has to realize that students are not stupid if they ask questions. »
- Less hand ins perhaps, although it does keep a constant flow. This might work better with feedback after certain hand ins to allow individuals to understand their level of work»

16. Additional comments

- I understand the point that the tasks in themselves are supposed to be very open and that the student is supposed to understand what is expected. However, sometimes I had the feeling that the examinator and the lectureres had not really talked through what the assignment should be about. For example Assignment 6 was explained in a completely different way during the lecture and in the document that was published later on. »
