- Practice sessions were too short. Instead of full day practice, intermediate practice would give the audience more chance to catch the course. In my point of view: I lost my motivation, when I couldn"t do the exercises on time.» (Unsatisfactory)

- I find it to to much practical elements and to much focus on actual commands in mpi and its argumant. When programming in parrallell you will google it anyway as you can not remember the arguments.» (Satisfactory)

- To my opinion time scheduled for practical exercises was not sufficient to fulfill all the tasks. Probably it would be reasonable to remove from lectures part of the material which is not directly covered by practical exercises. That can give extra time for coding.» (Good)

- More advanced examples or alternatively examples in realistic problems. I found the course too simple for my needs.» (Satisfactory)

- Explanations given were sometimes confusing. I know there are better ways to explain these concepts. For example explicit examples should be provided after each new MPI command given (not just the syntax).» (Satisfactory)

- Excellent expertise of the lecturer in the subject. Clear, logical and enthusiastic presentation of the material. Extensive answers to all questions. The lecturer and his assistants from C3SE have been very helpful during the practical part of the course. » (Excellent)

- I did only take part in the first day of the course, this due to that I had to stay home with sick child the other days.»
- Many thanks to the lecturer! Great course »
- Hands on was excellent but more realistic examples would be more useful. Biggest problem was that no examples were provided after each MPI command. Mainly an explanation and a syntax was provided. On the internet however the best cites include the explanation, the syntax and a short code example using that command (similar to what Matlab documentation also does). That would have been much more helpful.»
- Thank you very much for this valuable organisation. I really liked it although I didnt participate into the all sessions.»
- It would have been nice to have more information about the systems available for research. Can lund people use beda? I would have loved to see the actual machine as well. Is ther international computers that we also can use? What is the level of processing and data of an application where mpi would be benificial compare to ordinary programs.»
