Would have been much better if they were handed out» - The E-books sometimes were not neccessary, but they seem to be good as the auxiliary references.» - Good! We spend several thousands on course-material each year, and it"s noot good if there is a conflict between "cheapest" and "best" material.» - Best is to have material from the institution, where only relevant information is included. The lecture not conducted well and the slides were not good for repetition at all.» - OF COURSE, i can not understand just by reading the handout. I think we need more explanation than just a picture. It will be good to have some material in PAT» - YES! To have a lecture on PAT for 4 hour from a guest lecture is really good but it is hard to remember everything and if you dont have good notes it is impossible to remember the essential parts!! » - Yes! The material on the topic PAT was not good. Especially if you missed the lession, and even thou i were there, i didn"t have a lot of help from the material.» - Yes, since it is not possible to note everything during the lecture and handouts didi not contain enough information to answer exam questions» - Yes» - I prefer to have an additional textbook. I didnt like the structure of most of the lectures, with more or less just a short introduction to the different parts» - I think it is.» - Yes.» - Yes» - Not at all. If detailed knowledge is required then more lectures with detailed information should be given. Most lectures were only about calculation which is just half of the exam. What is your opinion on the project work?- alldeles för kort tid för att kunna göra uppgiften på ett bra sätt samt sätta sig in i vad man egentligen ska göra.»- it is good.It must hv some credits» - Didnt give much. Would have been better with a short hand in report» - I don"t have any idea.» - Hard to understand what"s expected, some help with calculations could be good.» - Its okey, but the task was put up to late» - Awful. Assignments came out too late and it was hard to find someone to ask for help.» - good» - It would be rellay good if there could be a 2 hours computer session with teacher the week before the seminar so we could get help with the programs (modde, SIMPCA ...) and to interpret the tasks. » - very different from group to group on the work load, some groups had a lot to do and others not that much» - it was simple project» - project work?? to the lab??» - -» - It is good have project that too in groups which involves different ideas from different students.» - It was of less relevance for the course! It is much better to analyze the results rather than doing different task which has correlations to other courses. » - hard to understand what to do. What about the workload, would it be possible to add 10-20 pages on turbulence to improve the Mixing part?- ja»- Mixing and turbulence study materials is too much .only relevant sections should mentioned. » - If that is something considered important, then yes» - It might be good.» - I think so.» - Yes» - Not if such detailed knowledge of the theory is needed as seen in the exam. It was not said how important the detailed theory was and more theory will only make the course worse.» - If its needed then why not. But i suggest 10 pages is enough, no more. since in the exam i found about that topic. Wonder if i had extra material. But this course is really take our time to do a lot of exercises and reading. » - Yes, if some of the 80 pages (C&R I think it was)are taken away. Do you think this course is relevant for your education?- ja, när man ser vad som egentligen ingår i kursen»- yes» - Not the PAT part (at least as it was introduced now), but otherwise good. This course need to have some better structure, I was a bit confused in the beginning. » - Yes, definitely.» - Yes.» - Yes» - Yes, a bit. However it feels like a course with the unimportant things which could not be fitted in courses from the bachelor level. I would rather see advanced chemical engineering instead of additional chemical engineering which this course was.» - Very» - It wasn"t so advanced chemical engineering that I thought. Mixing, absoprtion and crystallisation was ok, but drying was a bit too easy (at least at the lectures and demoexercises) and PAT was very poorly conducted, mostly because we had no material besides a powerpoint full with pictures. Also the seminar would be more rewarding if there is a 2 hours computer session with teacher before.» - Would have been better if something other then crystallization was new in the course» - yes» - yes» - yes, I do» - absolutely» - not really only the absorption part was relevent in my case» - Some parts might be relevant, some are not very usefull!» - yes» - Yes» - Yes. Would you recommend the course to other students?- nej, eftersom kursens föreläsningar och räkneövningar inte ger någon som helst hjälp till att lära sig kursens innehåll.»- off course » - Maybye» - Yes» - Yes.» - Yes» - No. A cuorse with this hard to grasp material, few useful lectures, an exam with so much harder calculations than any calculations found in the book and detailed theory questions is nothing I would recommend.» - sure» - Yes» - maybe» - yes» - yeah...» - yes, I would» - yes» - Depends on what you are interested in but i might recommend it...» - i"m not sure. i didn"t like the structure of the course. Do you have any other suggestions for improvement?- Jag tycker kursen har väldigt konstigt upplägg. Alla föreläsningar och räkneövningar går igenom saker som vi redan läst men när vi sedan ska beräkna uppgifter själva så är det på saker vi aldrig hört talas om tidigare så man måste läsa in hela materialet själv i boken helt utan hjälp från föreläsningarna. Efter att ha gått på föreläsningarna trodde jag kursen inte ens skulle vara värd att plugga till eftersom jag redan kunde alla saker som tagits upp på föreläsningarna men efter att ha fått en chock över vad som egentligen ingår i kursen måste jag säga att andra saker borde tas upp under föreläsningarna och räkneövningarna så man blev mer förbered vad kursen egentligen går ut på. Det enda som gav en relativt bra överblick var absorptionsavsnittet.»- Put study questions at the end of each lecture to elaborate study out come.» - Better lectures. The lectures worked as introduction to the different parts, I would want the lecturer to talk about everyting important (this complaint is not for absorption)» - I think it was a standard course with reasonable workload.» - Communicate the expectations better, otherwise overall good. Good lectures and attitude from all the course staff!» - Why have hard cruxes in every calculation in the exam? With this difficult calculations 5 h is too short! Maybe one of the three this hard but not all three! And do we really need to know 1 atm in Torr? To many Theory questions. Make more like A1a and A1b instead of A1 and A2.» - the exam is so confusing and tricky. maybe in the example or demo calculation part you can provide us more tricky question so we will not feel surprise in the exam. » - It would be nice is the lectures about mixing could contain more thoery and not so many pictures and movies. Go through more material in the lectures (Absorption exclued). » - The PAT lecture notes could be improved a lot» - it would be better if the demonstration of the exercises become mandatory project and we get points from that.» - no» - -» - no» - No. I don"t.» - we are not satisfied from exercises,the teacher solved easy questions in the class,and in exam the questions were completely different.we need improvement in it. kindly check the exam questions and compare these with the exercises solved by the teacher.there is no similarity.i think may be some of the student have solved some questions, but i think they have already strong back ground in it. kindly do some thing in it. we are completely satisfied from theory part, but not from exercises.» - Publish the slides. Do not explain the basis in materialbalance, everyone should no it and it makes us feel like it is not a difficult course (please dont say that eigther that it is an easy course) and lower the ambitions of the class. Otherwise thank you for the course I like the work of all persons involved in the course.» - the exam should be more regular.»
