1. Please provide your comments about the project?- Good idea but very messy organization!»

- Some presentations was under acceptable level. that they actually passed is unbelievable. Otherwise good to get a way to apply the new knowledge. It would be nice to know the grade on it and just some notes about what was good and what could be done better for future projects. »

- Projektet gav en bra känsla för poängen med kursen och hur man tänker vid materialval men programvaran var svåranvänd. Dels för att vi inte fick någon handledning i det (t.ex. datorlabb) och dels för att det var otydligt hur programmet gjorde sina sorteringar.»
- Since so many factors was needed to be forseen it would have been better if we could be a bit more limited in what products to choose, then it would have felt a bit more "real"»

2. please provide your comments about contents and lectures?- CRAP! Total crap!
Especially the lectures with calculations guideing... why even bother to have a lecture about it!? When it didn"t differ from the word document on the course homepage... WHY!? So much waste of time! Would have been easier to put up a computer with microsoft Sam/Anna and some speakers... that would even been better!
And when the lecturer did get a question... he just said "like this" "look at the board" "it is like this"... yeah I can see that... but I want to know WHY! But I did"t get an answer to that... no single time so I stoped asking question...»

- Jag var inte på så många föreläsningar men det kändes ändå som att det gick väldigt långsamt och som att det var mycket repetition. Det kändes helt enkelt som att kursen inte hade tillräckligt med innehåll för 7,5 hp.»
- I did not attend more than 4 lectures due to the fact that i did not feel that they gave me anything. Also showing the program that much of the course was about would be good.
Also many of the things said felt a bit shallow and as it was said from "the book". If Teaching Design students the lecturer should spend some time on the terminology around usabillity, ergonomics and brand identity to seem a bit more trustworthy in this field. »

- Text book very good and complete ! Like a "bible" I think I will use it in the future, especially for basic reminders at the beginning of the book, the study cases... »
- THe book was good, the powerpoints on the webpage could be more organised. more put together that there was three different powerpoint files for one lecture made it a bit hard to follow. just to put them together to into one file, would make it a lot easier to print out and have with on the lecture. »

- Föreläsningarna kändes väldigt bundna till kursmaterialet och programmet på ett oflexibelt sätt. Det var egentligen inte fel på kursboken men jag tyckte inte att power pointsen (som verkade höra till programvaran och vara ett färdigt kurspaket) var särskilt bra. Det var svårt att förstå hur programmet fungerar genom att bara kolla på slides.»

We did get answers but they were of no use...» (Very poor)
- Only asked for help from the supervisor about how wide we should define scope of our project and how it would be graded. She refused to give any assistance at all. Very strange behaviour compared to other supervisors I"ve had. » (Rather poor)

- Make a ZIP-file of all the study material you post on the web. The folder structure is very good, but from our end we have to go inside each folder on the web interface. It would be super smashing great if we could download one file with the folder structure and files inside of it.
Remember to book the exam date, some of us have to book tickets early to be able to got home for christmas.»

- It could be a really good course it is interesting. But as it is now I would not recommend it. » (hesitant)
- The central part - how to choose materials in a methodical way is extremely important, this is something I will have use for in the future. » (recommend the course)
- I am in the 2nd year of master and as a completion of my education, I really think it is a good course. It let me see many examples, and have a global vision of material engineering, seeing it in another point of view (I mean not microscopically speaking for instance)
