- Examinationen testar inget. Man skriver en rapport och gör en presentation. Ingen återkoppling under arbetets gång och inte heller på presentationen. Man behöver inte ens motivera hur man tänkte. Betyget lär väl visa något. Men det är ju inte intressant.» (No, not at all)

- I thought it was a quite serious flaw that there is no individual task that is graded. The current situation benefits students who might not contribute a lot to the group project, that still most likely receives the same grade as the other students in the group who has contributed much more.» (To some extent)

- It was hard to take the teaching serious. In the beginning the first lectures was quite the same. For example four lectures used the picture of a dalmation illustrated by some dots, which also were covered in the introduction course. Try to get going to more deapth a bit earlier.» (Small extent)
- Personligen gillar jag föreläsningar. Många har varit intressanta och har fått en att tänka på vissa saker. Men inte så kopplade till projektet. » (Some extent)

- Kursmaterialet har varit omfattande, ibland relevant. Ibland inte. Personligen hade jag hellre haft en handledare. Men både och är nog viktigt.» (Some extent)
- Good that you provided all the literature but it was a bit too much. hard to read it all before we got more. You should also consider giving the literature as pdf instead of printed paper.» (Some extent)

- Good but try maybe to structure the files in folders like /lectures, /course info, /literature, /templates or something like that. I think MariAnnes lecture never was uploaded on the web but I may be mistaken.» (Rather well)

- Föreläsningarna behandlade som sagt inte riktigt projektets metoder, och efter genomgången när man satte sig med metoden i projektet uppstod frågor som var svåra att få svar på, eftersom nästa föreläsning var med en annan person oftast.» (Rather poor)

- Tyvärr blev en föreläsning inställd, sedan är arbetsfördelningen mellan början och slutet på kursen obalanserad. För lite i början och för mycket i slutet.» (Adequate)

- Jag tror inte ni är medvetna om vilket gigantiskt projekt det här är! Alla de punkterna som ska täckas in, med all den teorin och alla de tidsödande metoderna... Vi pratade flera gånger med varandra om att detta kändes mer i storleksordningen som ett kandidatarbete, bara att vi fick 7 veckor istället för 15! Och hade man gjort alla de metoderna så som man "ska" enligt litteraturen utan att ha anvisningarna i tesen hade det blivit ett ex-jobb!» (Too high)

- Alldeles för mycket kretsat runt metoder, men ändå känner jag inte hur jag skulle tillämpa detta i ett riktigt projekt. Känns gjort för forskning snarare än något annat.» (Poor)
- The course is focusing too much on different methods. I feel that I didn"t learn much more than how to fill in some sheets for some methods. The methods could be covered in some workshops or something rather than in the project. In these workshops we could easier get more help on how to perform them and the project could focus on something else instead. The teachers could attend the guest lectures to find out what they are covering to avoid any repetition.» (Poor)
- Som TD-student kändes mycket som repetition. Och sedan var det för många metoder och delmoment., Det fanns aldrig tid att djupdyka på något. Vilket jag tror många faktiskt skulle vilja.» (Fair)

- During the course I would say "adequate" - I felt a gap between the theories when we were to apply them and the understanding of what we got out from it. But in the end of the course when the result from the whole project was gathered I saw the meaning of the theories - therefore "good".» (Good)

- Gästföreläsare som berör ämnen vi inte har pratat så mycket om på TD.»

- Man lär sig väldigt mycket så det är ett bra innehåll. Många av föreläsningarna var väldigt bra. Det var bra att dela klassen i två på redovisningen»

- The planning with all of the lectures given before the last two weeks, so all focus can be put on the project then.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Assignment 10, design proposals. Vi slängde i hop våra förslag på en eftermiddag. Det var aldrig fokus på re-design och helt plötsligt skulle vi göra det på ingen tid alls. I projekt-PM står det att man ska göra projektet som om man gjorde det för ett företag. Med kursens upplägg, att man ska göra 10 delsteg, varken mer eller mindre blir detta fel. Speciellt när man ska göra en rapport, och dessutom göra designförslag. En av dessa tre ska bort.»
- Ändra fokus, se över vad för kunskap som ligger bakom metoderna och lär ut den! Se till att föreläsningarna är mer förknippade med projektet. Kanske övningar där man arbetar med projektet. Lärarna bör föra mer diskussion kring ämnet då det inte är ett ämne som är svart på vitt. Diskussions grupper där man diskuterar metoder och teorier hade inte heller varit fel.»
- The focus should be drawn away from all the methods.»
- It felt like too many methods and some of them were repetition. A catch-up is always good but we could have spent less time om e.g. HTA in the lecture. In a addition the ECW and PUEA did not feel that different from the CW and PHEA. I think it would have been enough to talk about the differences and not applying it to the project. It would have been less input for the design, but on the other hand we could have worked more thoroughly with the other, new methods.»

- Minska omfattningen på projektet! Skala bort några bitar eller metoder som tar massa tid både i förberedelse och genomförande. Eller låt eleverna välja mellan ett gäng olika medoder så de kan välja dem som passar deras maskin/system och är genomförbara.»
- Some methods took a ridiculously long time to perform. Do less methods for the project next year!»
- Lectures that are about methods need to come earlier in the course, we had to wait for a lecture at one point before continuing with the project.»
- Maybe some of the material of the lectures could be looked over - a lot of pictures and material were the same on some lectures and theerfore hard to keep interest when you"ve heard it two-three times before.»
- Include some type of individual task that allows for members of the same group to be rated after their individual skills, and not as a whole group.»

16. Additional comments

- Som sagt: för lite djupdykning. Alla fick beröm när vi hade anpassat metoderna efter projektet och dess omständigheter. Men det var inget som uppmuntrades i början. Utöka detta till att: fokusera på de metoder som känns relevanta för just ert projekt och lägg mindre energi på det andra.»
- Jag är mycket besviken på denna kursen och skulle verkligen vilja se att den ändrade på sig. Det känns lite som att ni smiter undan från att försöka lära oss något när ni ger oss ett stort projekt och ger oss material och läsa och sedan bara sätter er och väntar på att få in projektet. Var var t.ex. Anna-Lisa under hela kursen!?»
- I was hoping for much more in this course like hints or some good tricks on how to get a good intuitive design, not some methods on how to tell that a desing is bad and where change is needed.»
- There was too little time to do something good out of every method, especially since it was hard for the experts to spend much time with us. »
