- Omid can answer almost any question, gives good explanations around the exercises and makes them more than "just a problem out of the course book", but could be more structured and talk a little slower sometimes.» (Large extent)

- After the second week the work load was very high with the homeassignments delivery and the labs.» (High)
- A little uneven. During study week 3 and 4 it was very much to do with home assignments. Good though with much time to prepare for the exam.» (High)

- It was high but manageable, although it felt that the homeassignments and the labs where done before we even saw those themes in the class that increased the difficulty of those tasks.» (High)

- The exam did not meet my expectations according to the lectures, it did´,nt cover the whole course, it was to tough. The tutorials did not help me at all.» (Fair)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- It seems that the exercises from the tutorials have been recycled from previous years and if that is the case at least they could be presented with more order and with a better handwriting or typeset. It would be good if they could be delivered along with the binder. Also for the tutorials the tutor should write in the board the problem (not just the drawing) there were many times that we couldn"t understand what the problem was about and what we were supposed to find. That misunderstanding took a lot of time of the class.»

- Hand out some more old exams and solutions for at least 2-3 old exams. The tutorials needs to be more qualitative.»
- a) The teacher should write on the board. b) The viewgraphs should be available for download in handouts, instead of paying for them. c) There should be better organization so as to have been taught the theory before the lab. We had no idea about filters (2nd lab).»
- The lectures should put much more effort on explaining the theory instead of just reading a long list of equations. The tutorials should be clearly structured, prepared beforehand by the lecturer (it seemed that the notes he had were from previous years" PhD students, not his own, so he was quite confused many times) and the exercises should be solved completely, not just half-solved. It seemed that the lecturer relied on the tutorials being uploaded to the website, so he didn"t put much effort on explaining the way he was solving the exercises. The visit to RUAG could be much better, showing some of the premises and more about the work that is done there. This year, it seemed very little was prepared and almost everything was done out of improvisation. Finally, the structure of the course is very confusing. The labs precede the theory that should be used in them, making the . We have been explained that this is done so due to the time needed to manufacture the circuits designed in the same labs. I would suggest then to change the order of the chapters in the course or to provide a good lab design manual. »

- More problems and examples in the lectures/tutorials that are similar to the examproblems (which are much more difficult). The teaching didnt make me feel prepared for the exam. Especially the tutorials were not qualitative enough.»
