1. The course essentially had three parts: The first was Basic Ergonomics, the second part was Production Ergonomics and the third was Ergonomics evaluation methodsTo what extent do you agree on the following statements about the lectures in Basic Ergonomics?Matrisfråga - Quizzes should be able to evaluate if you have ergonomic knowledge not if you know how to read in detail. I didn"t like when the teacher pointed at her own physical parts to identify parts of the body, sometimes was not that easily visual »
- The lectures as well as the quizes were sometime too strong related to Swedish cases. One has to decide if it is maybe better to teach the material in a more international way. E.g. questions in the quiz to Swedish law or ergonomic behavior are exaggerated. The fourth is positive, i.e. it was a lot of good new stuff.»

The Jack lab was too easy, would be fun with more tasks. Perhaps two jack labs next time?»
- It is better to have a mandatory part with the Jack program instead of having it optional. If the result of the lab is mandatory to use in the report it would have felt more useful and convenient. »
- I had already made such a session in a previous course (JACK).»
- Det var bra att försöka koppla samman projektet och Jack, men vi var redan helt klara när labben genomfördes och hade därför ingen nytta av den. Jack kanske borde ligga tidigare? I lv 5 eller 6?»
- Best part of the course. The computer lab should be tied more closely to the group project work.»

The goal of the project work was to give you a chance to apply your acquired knowledge in a virtual case thus giving you the opportunity to do virtual analysis.To what extent do you agree on the following statements about the project work?Matrisfråga - This seems to be a course people take as an extra course together with other courses, this course was very down prioritized by one of our group members. Apart from that, the group work was a good way to learn and understand the subject.»
- I think that is in courses like this it is better for the overall knowledge to have a project work to get the big picture. »
- Utan någon kunskap är det svårt att skapa sitt eget "case". Det borde vara möjligt att ge ut en del värden och data. För vi som studenter har ingen aning om vad som är rimligt eller inte...
Angående presentationen:
Bättre information om vad som förväntas, vi har ingen erfarenhet av att vända oss till företag,
vi vet oftast knappt vad lärare förväntar sig av oss vid vanliga presentationer. Lägg in en timmes föreläsning om vad som är
viktigt att tänka på när man vänder sig till ett företag. Vad som är viktigt att presentera och hur man ska lägga fram sin data, resultat och förslag. Det skulle verkligen ge oss något som vi har nytta av senare i yrkeslivet.
Skippa den första presentationen, be istället alla att lämna in en planeringsrapport så
att ni kan kolla att alla kommit igång och fattat uppgiften. (Speciellt eftersom ni ändå vill ha med
den första presentationen i slutpresentationen....)»
- It would be nice to provide the students with real cases and see the different ways a single case can be solved in different ways. Is not nice to assume everything as then it loses interest.»
- The content that was expected in the report did not match the 3000 words that we had. It is very difficult to get a good and understandable content of that many areas in so few words. We understand that you don’,t want us to write too much but to expect theory and method sections when there are only 3000 words does not work. Either remove the demands for those sections or increase the limit to 4000 or 5000 words. The content will suffer because of the word-limitation and the reader will not get all the necessary information.»
We were able to find a good application.

- General it is not good to change factors like this in a course, but in this case it was to a somewhat better way.»
- My results were quite evenly spread around 16, I prepared in the same way for all quizes. It didn"t matter to me...»

- It"s not desirable to change the system in the middle of the course, but in this case it was necessary and the second system was much better. »

How well did the course live up to what you consider reasonable?Matrisfråga- Very good course, but try to increase the content in the first weeks. Put the labs earlier as they would have supported us more in our group work then. Lectures such as lean, and work organization could have been held later instead. »
- It was a very interesting course that will be useful in the future. Even if I"m will work as an ergonomist I"ll have the knowledge of the theory and can do analyses on workstations and connect it to the economic objectives. »

- The course was good but some answers of the multiple choice questions of the quizes were too unclear, i.e. too difficult to distinguish. Even if one have learned a lot it was difficult. For the second quiz it was also a bad situation that the last lecture was not available but some questions about illuminate etc. were asked. »
- Overall the course was a really good one. I feel that the project could have been even larger. Also, the project should have had more restrictions.
One lecturer was poor (Kathe Nonås) from my point of view.»
