- Some material was only available on paper. Two of the HMM exercises I got only because someone emailed me a photo of the paper she had got from a third person. » (Rather well)

- The Perl lectures and the project were great! Also the lecture about gene prediction. »
- programming experience. building a toolset to work with databases for useful tasks. »

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- For the group project, I belive we should be allowed to choose either the topic to work on or the groupmates. »
- More (and newer) example exams. For many reasons. They form the weighted and true version of the course goals. »

16. Additional comments

- It would be good to have the HMM mre applied. The lectures were very good, but we could have had some more applications or practical, maybe some paper to read.»
- HMMs are tought theoretically but not really put to use. Exam was too much material for the set time. I knew answers to questions that I did not have time to answer. »
