- Not the oral exam. He did not ask relevant questions.» (No, not at all)
- Some parts of the examination are hard to prepare for. Even if you have knowledge of the areas within the course, some question requires you to think beyond these limits.» (To some extent)
- The oral exams were not as I supposed they would be. They were straight questions that could have been done better by duggas. I thought they should reflect the lab work but we got no comments at all from the report that we had made.» (To some extent)
- the oral exams need some more work since the questions vere oddley stated and to a large extent depended on remembering formulas. There were also some trick questions in the oral exam, something i do not think belong there if the test is only 20 min per 3 students. The written exam vas hard but good, the oral exam was not that great.» (Yes, definitely)

- Tried to seek help at several times, no one in office» (Rather poor)
- The times availible for questions each week was ill timed with the handout and delivery deadlines of the various task. For example the HIP were delivered on monday and were due next monday. The time to ask questions were tuesday (or maybe wednesday) and it felt too early. You really had to stress yourself to work enough on the problem"s so that you could have good questions prepared so early.» (Rather poor)
- TA"s were not available during scheduled consultation time, because of conflict in schedule. Also, grades from hand-in problems and projects was very very slow!» (Rather poor)

- It"s harder when you not can decide by yourself who you work width. Some exchange student are very lazy.» (Rather well)

- Very high workload, but I also learned a lot. The course took away lots of time from my other course, which was not so good. Sometimes you have the strength to go through one of these courses, but they really impact your result in courses taken during the same time period, and I would not have the stamina to do this kind of effort more than maybe once a year.» (Too high)
- If there are that many and extensive handins/projects then they need to contribute to a larger extent to the final grade.» (Too high)
- There is really no time for doing exercises on your own. There"s always a hip or project to be working on.» (Too high)

- The pace is too high. It becomes difficult and causes anxiety... Not fun or motivating.» (Adequate)
- During the course it was so much to do and it was not so funny but now, when I have some distance to it, it was good and I learned a lot on it,» (Adequate)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The amount of hours dedicated to the course is too big, and it is not corresponded to a 7.5 credits course. Also, the evaluation of the home assignments and laboratories is not proportionally done.»
- More practical examples, be far less generalistic at the black-board, understanding is gained from practical examples Not so many hand-ins, projects and oral exams, the amount is quite ridiculous. The one handling the oral exam for project 1a-b, had a low level of english and had a hard time understanding and making himself understood. He gave an answer to a question he had posed, although this was actually the same answer that we had already given before.»

- That the scores were divided on both the report and the oral hearing comes as a surprise. The rules change as it suits the teachers during the course. According to course-pm the oral exam should be a disscution but there were questions and answers only. Remove oral exam and let the teacher to be in the lab instead.»
- It is very important to go through the corrected hand-ins togheter with the students!!!!! Otherwise it is impossible for the students to learn from their misstakes! It should be marked in the hand-in what was missing or wrong that resulted in a lower score, and clear answers should be presented so that the students ultimatly know how to solve it.»

- The course is too oral... It could be really better, if we would not be obligated to write always what is on the blackboard. It would keep time to really understand ! Write less on the blackboard and put more lectures on the projector and more notes on the website !»
- The studiosessions were a total waste of time. I didn"t learn anything new and the TA"s wasn"t that helpful and the last session the computers wasn"t working.»

- Tutorial sessions and studio sessions are not efficient enough»

- Teachers must be better prepared many mistakes during the lectures. Tip! Write on the board and go in the back of the hall and see if you can see what you have written. No feedback on the report just a random number as grade.»
- I like the principle of different examination parts, but three projects and oral exams, and four hand-in problems plus one exams is little to much workload, maybe just having to projects. But i liked the project, since you did something practical.»
- The project, the lectures and the book has no connection to each other. You couldn"t find solutions to the project 1a and 1b by reading the book.»
- Ashkan and Panagiota did a great job as teaching assistants, more exercise sessions with them wouldn"t hurt.»
