- I liked the exam very much. The form of it was perfect with a take-home exam. Also, it reviewed what we had studied in the course without copying excersies from the hand-ins. Very good!» (Yes, definitely)

- It was hard and time consuming, but somehow I liked it anyway. It took me about 16 hours to finish. I would have prefered having the exam not colliding with my other exam. Perhaps next year, ask the student where they have their other exams and adapt the exam placement.» (Yes, because...)
- it fits the course content. I don"t think smaller questions in a typical 4h exam would have been suitable. And a take-home exam felt natural when all the compulsory exercises already went along the same track.» (Yes, because...)

- A "normal" 4-hours exam would have been too stressful since this kind of course requires some thinking and even some tests before you get the answer. So a 36 hour take-home exam removed the stress.» (Yes, because...)

- Algorithms on this level are either you know how to work with it and can solve a home exam otherwise you can"t. If it would be a traditional exam you would have to study and remember so much details that the main goal of the course would be a bit lost on the way. » (Yes, because...)

- A mailing list would be good to announce info. Example :one of the exercises had an error and I didn"t realized it until there was an update on the course page until I had made a lot of effort to solve it (which was impossible without the comment on the course page) » (Very well)

- It was a fun course, with fun material covered. However I managed (I think anyhow) to pass the course while also studying two other courses, as well as being active in student life and doing re-exams from previous years. In other words, if I had taken this as a "full time" course rather than an added bonus I would have been very disappointed with the low work load. » (Good)
