Genomsnitt: 3.12 - There were 8 lectures on the whole (6 lectures dealing with course main topics and two optionals), and the materials on the text book were covered to a great extent. But concerning the exam, the balance between each chapter of the book and the exam question points were not fair for some parts of the exam. For instance there was only a 2-point question regarding Lecture 6 (Chapter 6 of the text book). Besides, the problem solving sessions did not help well to tackle the exam. » (To some extent)

- Wasting a lot of time on number-crunching is not the optimal way to illustrate the effects of various design options.» (Some extent)
- Time during lab sessions could be spent in a more efficient way, instead of completing tables and waiting for long simulation.
For an IESD student, it would be more interesting to implement some hardware rather than just run a simulation and fill a table.» (Some extent)

- It is required to monitor the exercise sessions steadily and make them as much helpful as possible since the exams for this course heavily depend on exercise solving capability. »

- Exercises should be taught in a human way.

- The lab assignments should be more than just crunching numbers from a txtfile.
The exercise sessions where quite awful, the teacher didn´,t go through the exercise. He just wrote them up on the board and wasn´,t able to explain when questions where asked. »

20. Additional comments- i like this course»
- I think that the project doesn"t motivate enough:
The fact that it consists in using a simulator is a handicap but I can"t think in a way to improve that concrete aspect.
But still we had to spend to much time trying to understand the tool, running the tool and fetching the data compared to the time we actually spent in understanding the results. I think that it can be improved...
Perhaps more documentation for the tool and an easier way to fill the forms would be good.»
