- There were 8 lectures on the whole (6 lectures dealing with course main topics and two optionals), and the materials on the text book were covered to a great extent. But concerning the exam, the balance between each chapter of the book and the exam question points were not fair for some parts of the exam. For instance there was only a 2-point question regarding Lecture 6 (Chapter 6 of the text book). Besides, the problem solving sessions did not help well to tackle the exam. » (To some extent)

- The course is mainly focus on the textbook. Many topics are just enunciated during lectures and they are not taught as they should be.» (Some extent)

- The lectures were organized very well but I think some parts of the course dealing with advanced topics need more clarifications and more lecture sessions to be understood well.» (Large extent)

- Seriously, this need to change for next year. The TAs are not taking their job seriously and the quality of these sessions are really low.» (Small extent)

- The project was really bad. Only do simulations and fill in tables a real no brainer. Then in the report it was just to state the obvious.» (Small extent)
- Wasting a lot of time on number-crunching is not the optimal way to illustrate the effects of various design options.» (Some extent)
- Time during lab sessions could be spent in a more efficient way, instead of completing tables and waiting for long simulation. For an IESD student, it would be more interesting to implement some hardware rather than just run a simulation and fill a table.» (Some extent)

- Specific architectures surely makes you understand that the topics discussed in lectures really are used in the real world. But this is just raising the credibility of the lectures, it doesn"t actually give you much useful knowledge in itself.» (Small extent)
- I have not participate to it because I did not have enough time. However, they were really interesting and they reflected what we have studied during the course.» (Some extent)

- The teacher assistant spams the inbox with several mails a week, which in itself is a could have been a good thing. But when it"s mainly about students finding errors or needing clarification on various iffy subjects in labs and exercises then it"s just a sign of bad administration.» (Very badly) (den här kommentaren har blivit redigerad i efterhand)
- Some errors in the schedule. Lecture slides and exercise were not available before the lectures many times.» (Rather badly)
- some problems with labs, information not given until last minute, some parts of the labs wasn"t possible to do due to problems with the tools.» (Rather badly)

- The lab assignments should be more than just crunching numbers from a txtfile. The exercise sessions where quite awful, the teacher didn´,t go through the exercise. He just wrote them up on the board and wasn´,t able to explain when questions where asked. »

- improve labs, it"s boring to put numbers in tables which took a lot of the time of the labs.»

- i like this course»
- I think that the project doesn"t motivate enough: The fact that it consists in using a simulator is a handicap but I can"t think in a way to improve that concrete aspect. But still we had to spend to much time trying to understand the tool, running the tool and fetching the data compared to the time we actually spent in understanding the results. I think that it can be improved... Perhaps more documentation for the tool and an easier way to fill the forms would be good.»
