Sure it is nice to know how to write in IEEE format, but collecting other authors works and summerize them in a report was not something I found learning at all. If I spent the time i did on the term paper on the compendium I would actually have learnt stuff. I don"t understand why we couldn"t write the termpaper in groups. It could be done more effectively.» (Small extent)

19. What should definitely be changed to next year?- We have not worket with GAMS before and therefore the project was difficult, change to MATLAB instead.»
- Hand out the termpaper subjects the first day so that one can start writing directly and be done with it. Or better remove the term paper from the course since it just feels time consuming.»

- It must be pointed out that not all have taken electrical engineering courses in power transmission and such. Some of us are mechanical/ chemical engineering student with little knowledge of power transmission!»

- I would not say definitely, but one thing that I would suggest is to give an already made programme in GAMS and ask students to write a report on what they understand from the results. This would save time and also the main purpose would be better served. »

- the goal of this course is not well clear. Many different theoretical concepts have been introduced with no precise reason. I think it is better to set some clear goal and just teach them not wandering around many topics.»
- Too much theory in the course. Difficult to absorb the theory because it was too heavy.»
- The final exam was vey much difficult, and although I had studied very hard, but I did my exam very bad, because the questions was very difficult and new. It was not similar to the old exams, and I wish this does not happen again at the re-exam times.»

- I do not want to say that teacher had not enough knowledge about the subject but he really should change the way he teach. First of all he show too many notes and slide during lecture which finally had not good outcome. Second he did not give a chance to ask or discussion during lecture although he change at last lectures to some extent. Third in the first lecture or at the beginning of each lecture he should give a brief introduction what we are going to learn, what is the usage of this subject,... »
