- we had 2 question in the final exam one about calculating electrical fields and one about surge arrester,i suppose these questions were unusual and strange and not vesy close to the thing that we workedon it during the course,and therefore can not evaluate student understanding well.» (To some extent)

- there were references to quite a few different books, a bunch of handouts and even more pages up on the web, which made it hard to get the outline of it all, not to mention to read more than a fragment of all litterature.» (Some extent)
- The course book (the orange one) is rubbish, replace it with a compendium. I learnt way more studying old lecture notes than trying to decipher the course book.» (Some extent)

- The home assignments before the labs could have been better. It is nice to see how one actually do tests of cables, isolation etc.» (Some extent)
- The preparations were good but I learnt more from the preparations than the lab. To many new things in the lab that was unmentioned in the preparations.» (Some extent)
- Good idea with a preparatory hand in report. One may consider having also a hand in report after the lab.» (Large extent)

- According to MOM, the trial exam was a "wake-up call". What was the thoughts about that? Setting a very very hard task to mess with lazy students? Don"t bother next year with such attitude...» (Small extent)
- because also the question in midterm was very tricky and not focusing the undestanding of the concept.» (Small extent)
- The trial exam is a good way to get the student to start studying from the beginning of the course. But since the trial exam only covered a small portion of the course it only help for that part of the course.» (Small extent)

- Maybe the choice of trial exam question could have been more appropriate for the time given to complete the task.»
- I like it when one gets handouts at each lecture, which means that you don"t have to concentrate on writing as much. Jörgen have his material and it would have been nice if he could hand it all out.»
- Replace the course book. Set a reasonable trial exam or skip it completely if that"s too much to handle...»
- updated lactures at homepage. questions hould focus on learning the concepts in general and not with very special soulotions.»
- tutorials are not so useful, they should be changed,»
- Some (mandatory or optional) extra hand in assignments, e.g. a computer simulation problem is reasonable. This doesn"t have to require more teaching time from the course. For example a computer simulation task with a written report that could give bonus points for the exam, without any scheduled teacher support. Creativity from the students should be more highly promoted.»

- The lectures were really very good. But some changes need to be made in tutorials.»
- I thought this was a very interesting and well constructed course that I would recommend to anyone who is interested in power systems or electrical engineering in general.»
- i think its not fair to have final examination right after the lectures, it better to specify some days for the students to prepare themselves for the exams, actually attending the classes almost from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon there would no time to study at home!»
