- From my point of view, the course was following the book too strictly. I would prefer it to be a bit more independent.» (Some extent)

- The book is written more or less as a discussion and can therefor be hard to follow. Had only help of pictures/graphs in book, text wasnt very clear to me.» (Some extent)
- If the book hadn"t been so filled with typing errors it would have got a great. Apart from the annnoying errors it was easy to read and understand. ppt-presentations gave a good summary that supplemented the book and the lectures. » (Large extent)

- Since there is no labs or projectworks it has been hard to find "study friends". During the lecturs there have been some discussions which is good. » (Rather poorly)

- The problem solving in class and the discussions with a classmate and then the teacher, it was very helpful to make sure we understood well. The quizzes at the end of each chapter.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Since (I think)the book is written as a discussion and it can be hard to follow. Maybe some reading advice, eg picture 2.44 is important, "material selection" 2.1 chapter 2 is less important ... etc»
- I think some lab or some practical work in order to get a deeper understanding. The optional essay is good, but maybe it is better to make it compulsory, with a litte more help of which phase transfornmations that can be studied? »

- I didnt find it helpful to follow the lectures after the book, since chapter 1 tries to explain the rest of chapters. Maybe a introduction of chapter 1 (S, H, dG=0 etc) then moving to chapter 2. Thus refering backward instead of forward...»
