- A lot of time was spent making everything work. The step from grade 3 to grade 4 is also too big.» (Fair)
- Spent too much trying to fix the CATIA models, they were very badly made.» (Adequate)
- A majority of the time is spent on fixing bugs, errors and backups etc. and not on activities related to the course goals. One however understands a plm/pdmsystem rather well.» (Adequate)
- The software requires alot of patience. Perhaps it would be preferable to use one that is further developed and more stabile.» (Adequate)
- Too few hours of supervising the project. Wanted the two hours on Wednesdays to also be supervised. At least for us limited to the prototype lab"s computers.
Too much we had to look up on our own how to do things. Very time inefficient and do not always contribute the better learning!!
The scripts and CAD we received was far from being usable. A lot of things had to be changed.
The papers we bought did not give any help on how to run the processes.
And why didn"t you say exactly how the bat-file and Catia macro files should look like to start them?? This only costs us all a lot of time.» (Adequate)
- There was a little too much programming involved at the end of the project in a language that has not been included in the education earlier. Also, it could have been good to try the user interface yourself prior to starting the project so that you know what to expect and how to use the system.» (Adequate)

- Only because the programming part took very much of the projects time even for simple code since we are used to matlab or java and that the system can"t cope with all Visual basic commands. You even have to change the info you find on the web.» (High)

- Do not have the 2nd dugga last week on Friday. I had a difficult exam on the following Monday and therefore didn"t take dugga 2. Week 6 would be better.
The hand-outs were not worth to read. The lecturer said they were for reference so that"s why almost nothing showed up in duggas. »
- The explanation of the program. You just had to find out for yourself and then ask. That is not a good way. And why a lot of scripts without be able to learn the language?»
19. Additional comments- Rather poor course, very poor programme with problems. Not enough supervision or help, i.e. I understand that there are a lot of people wanting help, but for one group it takes ca 30 minutes to help. So something has to be done. Maybe a better liable program, PDM Link instead for Pro/E??»
