I would understand it if it were for a bachelor regarding the logical formation but this is a bit more advanced from my perspective. why not calculating real cases instead in a excel sheet like if it was a real simulation with different scenarios and different strategies applied. - The level of knowledge of the professor is quite high, so some times to follow up his ideas you need to know some concepts prior the lecture. Though he tried to cover all the required concepts » (Large extent)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- It would be good is someone told the class that an individual assignment was to be made instead of just putting it on the course homepage»
- Give more time to answer the exam questions or reduce the number of questions. Even if you requested short answers, some questions required a little bit more explanation in order to express our-self properly »
- To add some handouts for people who don"t have any Economic background, with simple economic concepts such as demand curve, economies of scale, of speed, of scope, ...
And add some short group assignments as we did at the end of the course (with points to share)»
- - the law part. If I have to deal with this in the future someone else will for sure take care of how a claim is written and the rest of the structure of the application
- the whole chapter related to japanese patenting is a bit unnecessary
- all the technicism related to patenting
- all the calculation things related to integrals and derivates, but not the calculation related to different options which are more explanatory and useful than just "for the maths sake"
- it is a course with overweight, try to make it more slim and interesting. I really found interesting things to learn fro mthe course but most of the time it was boring and repeating, and many things was just a waste of time such as what was identified above. »
- Better and deeper analysis from economical perspective, it was covered but there was the most to gain!»

- The IP law optional assignments. They appeared to heavy for me to find incentive to finish them for bonus points on IP law exam instead of getting those bonus points for final exam. They appeared to be very good practice, but at the pace of all my courses and IP law exam in the middle of it, I could almost not find time to even consider how to tackle the problems in the assignments. If kept one should get better paid for it.»
- All the Math, even if all of us have engineering background, many of us finished our bachelors many years ago, we didn´,t use that knowledge and it was an overwhelming task to learn that again »
- More structured efforts to go through the economic modelling. There is a large responsiveness for the students to come prepared at the lectures though.»
16. Additional comments- It"s a shame that I couldn"t finish all the questions in the exam due to the time.»
- I have talked to people in the first year and I told them I would not recommed this course, but since there is not much more available they might have to take it anyway to fulfill the 30 points per quarter. This is sad, don"t you think.
I understand the lecturer in charge of the course has a PhD on this topic and has many many things to say but not all of we are going to go deep on this issue.

- This course and lecturer would have fit for a Master in IP or a Master related to intellectual property issues, but in my case is not the case. It is a most knowing about the topic but he went to deep into something I didn´,t liked so much. If I had liked it then it is my responsability to dig more into it and search for more information about it. But it was too much for this course. I would have liked a more "straight to the point" lecturer.» (Average)

Actually I leartn much more from the other course which was less demanding and had no exam just 2 group reports compulsory and 1 individual voluntary report .. Genomsnitt: 3.27 - I the very begining I thought it was tremendous, but once I read the instructions and started to participate actively on this negotiating thing I came up with that it was useless. We just threw a coin and no negotiating took part. It would have been much better if we had had IP assets to negotiate and get points from real negotiating skills and coming up with interesting ways of getting these extra points.» (Very poor)

Well, finance and strategy is much more needed than an IP course from my perspective to my Master programe profile. If I had had a strategy and finance course as alternative to this IP course I would have taken the finance and strategy one.
