- For some lecture the literature was perfect but for some of them like P2P it was not acceptable and I had to read a lot of other materials.»
- Too much literature to actually understand what to read before the exam. Instead it seemed that studying the lecture slides was the best option and in that case the concepts was to briefly described to be able to answer the exam questions.»
- A bit unclear what was what was not course literature. The mandatory articles from Wolfgang"s part were interesting and felt very relevant for that particular area.»

- Bad. Elad"s mentality that questions should only be answered so that everyone taking the course should be able to take part of the answer just seems lazy. The claim that some assignment were going to receive a big amount of feedback must have been a lie. We did not receive even one sentence of feedback on any of the assignemnts.»

- Too unstructured.» (Poor)
- The impression varies a lot between the different topics and teachers. Tomas and Wolfgang were "excellent" while I would rate the others "adequate". The P2P and sensor networks part needs to be more focused. As it was now there were lots of slides and lots of terms and small facts but not much that really stuck since it was hard to get a good overview of the subjects. The number of topics in those two lectures should probably be decreased with each topic given more time. The self-stabilization part was interesting but it would be nice with a clearer connection to actual distributed systems with real examples. The part as it was now got a bit too algorithmic and parts of what was taught is maybe better left to the algorithms courses. » (Adequate)

- I feel self stabilization and physical layer not much related to our master program, we could have more related and useful topics!»
- this course may be good if just have one teacher..»
- Why are arbitrary group"s assignments being corrected during a lecure? That feedback is only relevant to the group it belongs to since the assignments obviously was poorly performed. It would have been another thing if some well performed assignments were choosen beforehand to set a good example for others.»
- More feedback on the labs! I know it can be quite time consuming but it would be really nice to get a couple of sentences saying what was good and what I need to work on. A possibility for this course would even be to entirely skip the exam and make the hand-ins individual. The things you work on in labs generally stick much better than what you read to pass an exam.»

- I think it would be more useful if it be in second term, before summer. its a bit late to start knowing what are the topics in our branch, we can decide sooner and use summer to make a decision or hopefully have a related summer job.»
- A guest lecture from a student that recently has done an exjob in one of the subjects could maybe be interesting.»
