Due to the complexity of the presented topics, the teaching was based on three course moments:
1- Lectures covering most of the course contents.
2- Home studies of the lecture notes, and writing of summaries of each chapter by the students themselves.
3- Home tasks where some of the presented methods have to be applied to practical cases.

- One of us didn"t like to work in a group and did everything on their one. So I where stuck with a person that didn"t know matlab and wasn"t that intrested in studying the course... » (Very badly)

- Better to use the group more as a forum for questions and discussion than for solving and writing code. » (Rather well)

Obviously, the course assessment did not work very well, since almost all students got the maximum mark for the course (the extra hard and good work of some of the students was not rewarding in the actual grading system). Do you agree with this statement?

- The higher grades might need to be based on something other than the correct results as that can easily be shared among students. One way to check if all students have understood is to have an oral exam or something similar to discuss the concepts. » (Yes, to some extent)
- The problem was that everybody helped eachother, if that can be a problem. So all the groups had simmilar codes. Then there where those who didnt know matlab that well or wasn"t that intrested in solving the problems that could feed on the rest of the group...» (Yes, definitely)
- First of all have an oral exam so it can be seen if people has understod and made there own code. » (Yes, definitely)

- It was good/ok with my closests friends, but then there where people that only searched for help/information without any interchange.» (Rather poorly)

- Everybody should have some matlab background! And there should be induvidual codes, not group codes!»
- all students needs to know matlab (or similar mathematical software), no group, oral exam or small exam (if there are to many students) to verify if students has made their own code and understand it. (one exam where you could bring your material)»
