- Have studied alone mostly this course, which I see as a big disadvantage for this course compared to the rest of the first year. I do not appreciate having only individual work, we miss the whole ICM way of learning when we are nog mixed anymore. Discussion about the assignment is not as useful as group work. Perhaps a mix with individual work and group work could be an accepted compromise for the future?» (Rather well)

- To have two individual hand in that required quite a lot of research, reading, thinking and writing was very stressful and it did not feel as it gave as much as it took. » (Too high)

- I think that the course has big potential, but you must try to find a more clear red thread between all the different subjects and connect them to the simulations in a clear way» (Adequate)
- Many interesting subjects, but since all of them were squeezed in at a too short time it feels as I learned nothing about a lot of subjects. I missed a red thread, the different parts did not fit together and I do not feel there was any depth in the course. » (Adequate)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- More emphasis on the red thread throughout the course.»
- The format of the simulations was not correct in my opinion»
- I think that the business in China part could be much more connected to the course»
- The individual assignments! Please also try to connect the simulations more to the lectures. As it was now I has often learned more sitting at Wikipedia than going to the lecture, when it comes to writing the assignments. The two professors from Asia. The lectures about China were far from objective and they felt unrelevant. I like the idea about a lecture serie about Chinese culture, but please change the professor....Same goes for the finance, I am sure there are professors at Handels that can explain the basis in Finance much more efficiently than him. Please also try to approach a more holistic level, to go in to the details before explaining the at least parts of the whole picture was rather confusing and not to helpful.»
