This type of junction was not mentioned on the lectures and not described in the lecture notes. I think it"s quite strange that there is a question about something that"s not in the course.» (To some extent)

Genomsnitt: 2.42 - Since there might be the case that everyone is not registered for the course or is able to attend the first lecture the teacher won"t have access to all of the students email adresses. This happend to me so I didn"t get any info regarding the course, e.g. cancellning of lectures etc. It"s much better to post ALL info regarding the course on the homepage. The same goes for all the course material. It would also be good if the email adresses to all teachers/lab supervisors were posted on the home page. » (Very badly)
- A bit disorganized. many deadlines to keep track of. Would be nice if this information could be available in a simple table on the homepage for example, instead of being in 10 different mails» (Rather badly)
- Handouts in .doc and .ppt instead of pdf made some equations disappear, which was annoying. The updates weren"t continuous, but instead came in clumps.» (Rather badly)
- A better system for reminding the teacher"s with scheduled lectures/labs of when they are to present would have been helpful.
It would be good to have the coordinating teacher present at all lectures in order to avoid confusion regarding hand-outs and rescheduling and other such administrative issues.» (Rather badly)

- The workload was too heavily biased towards the last few weeks. In the beginning (March+April) there was not much work to do at all (excepting Dr. Shumeiko"s work of course). Towards the end when I would have preferred to be studying for the exam, I found myself scrambling to write lab reports and assignments.» (Adequate)
- There were to much hand-ins at the end of the course. They should have been spread out more during the course. One shouldn"t put deadlines during the easter holiday, since we are supposed to have one week of vacation and one week for exams.» (Adequate)

- The homework assignments, but more evenly spread out. Now, there was little work the first few weeks and which increased to 4 hand-ins in the last week.»

- Having all the different topics presented by the various teachers to get a good overview of possibilities within the field.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Better communication between teachers to avoid misunderstandings (such as lecture times). Floriana is too democratic. Leonids lecture was a bit off topic.»

Administration could have gone much more smoothly in terms of ensuring teachers remember the schedule, or to reschedule when problems arise, communicating about what assignments are, when labs will be, posting material online, etc. Having a teacher in charge and present at all lectures I think would be quite helpful in this regard.»
