- There was a problem with the files in the robot arm part. We spent hours to implement a PID controller but the algorithm didn"t work until we replaced the m-files other than the initializing file with the files from the servo example in the true-time folder. Please check them and adjust if necessary.» (Good)
- Especially the part about scheduling was worthwhile.» (Good)
- Good hand-in, but there were some confusing tasks. For example, we were supposed to discretize continuous controller and implement it, but TA have shown discrete PID, so it was not clear what we should actually do. And it was written in the hand-in task to change file "controlcalc.m", but actually we should create two more new files, and shouldn"t care about that file. So you should make the task description more clear next period.» (Adequate)

- The task was too general. it would be better if the problem was more defined and the task was more clear. The task description was just one paragraph which could cause ambiguous interpretations.» (Adequate)
- Nice to be able to dig deep into a subject and you learn much from it, not only about the subject. For example researching you don’,t learn on a lecture. Sometimes you have the feeling though that the amount of time spent on the project is relatively large compared to the learning outcome. Grading makes it hard with different ambitions in the group, but it is nice to get a grade for the large effort.» (Adequate)
- Don"t like the idea about having a group task which directly affectes my individual grade for the course. Furthermore, I believe that the different topics were not on the same difficulty level.» (Poor)

- The project was good way of understanding, also the review. I enjoyed it. I hoped that the person coming from industry would talk better, but he just advertised linux not talking about a topic of our interest and real time control systems or practical usage of them, I think the idea is good but maybe he should design his talk more for the students of Real Time class.»
- Great course, I"ve learned jitterbug and canCan! :-)»
- All in all the course was satisfying. However it would be more efficient if the lecture notes (which were very useful for the learning process) were presented prior to the lectures so that the students could focus more on the topic instead of making notes during the lecture.»
