- I just have seen the example exam and based on that I feel that exam questions are very much depend on memorization and not to understand it. It must be different than what it is seems right now. I read almost all papers and chapters and I still didnt feel secure for the exam since the questions sometimes directly ask some terminology or definition which is very hard to memories and remember» (?)

- Based on looking to Exam questions Mr. Starons teaching has cover I guess %50 of the things and rest is memorization of the questions, Mr. Williams part is less covered in the exam. He generally talk about projects and his exam questions are almost always about the papers we suppose to read. I believe its logical to read and understand those papers but I see no point to memorized exactly what is writen and memorize the names of the theorems etc.. also he didnt cover any part for the exam» (Some extent)

- I think the area is still new subject to many students and it is their first "practical" exposition to cooperating processes and related topics (except the OS course). Most helpful is real coding and mentoring in my opinion.» (Small extent)

- I read lots of documents and they were good but since we need to read almost 5 papers and 2 chapters for each course its almost 40 papers and 16 chapters which is a ocean and I feel I lost sometimes.» (Some extent)

- Was not able to sign for exam at studieportalen. Course schedule changes and schedule located at several places. PingPong is not user friendly.» (Rather badly)

- class workload was high since we need to read lots of documents. It is good for me to learn unless there are not questions on the exam which asks question like Explain the differences between Mr X and Mr Y "s theorems. which is almost impossible to remember. I rather prefer questions like mr x theorem is that mr y s theorem is that and tell what are the main differences and which one you prefer etc.. This questions are more logical» (High)

- I suggest to consider prolonging the assignments deadline. They are valuable to understanding what really happens but you can be much more confident (of your understanding) if you get them work the way you anticipate. Debugging the is difficult because of lack of IDE support. It really needs some other backgrounds like Linux know-hows that though have little to do with the internals but will save you a lot of time starting assignments on your own.» (High)

- its good to learn quality and leadership since I mentioned lots of times but I want to mentioned it again please ask less memoriziation needed questions» (Good)
- I suggest adding an advanced course. Too much material, yet not covered and giving a very practical insight of computers, programming, operating systems... to the ones seeking a rather unified consistent and integral view of computing. Many fundamental areas are involved. Good opportunities in industry also. » (Good)

- Course instructor - he is interested in the subject and also interested in teaching. Assistantship - I really did not attend exercise sessions, I was way behind lecture sessions and trying to catch up. But recently asked for help from Willard and was very helpful. Assignments - very practical and fruitful for the interested.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- exam since the example exam is very hard in terms of remembering everything. other things are good»

- proffessor for leadership part was good (for only 1st two lectures), but the main course examiner was boring..may be due to less interaction. »
- Able to sign for exam online and (up to date) schedule in timeedit.»
- The written examination should be changed, and instead of it could be an individual report about the course book or each week should be a presented report, and the topic assigned from the teacher. In this way there will be a good space to more discussing with the teacher and sudents regarding a specific topic. Also the student could get better understanding by searching the needed information and present it, so the student will get the most benefits from the course and its material »

- why need 50% correct on exam to pass? All other Chalmers courses are 40%... Why G and VG grades? Why not 3,4,5?»
