Genomsnitt: 2.54 - På första föreläsningen gavs bilden att boken var central och skulle användas mycket. Köpte den därför trots att jag inte brukar ha så mycket nytta av denna typ av "amerikanska" tunga böcker. På senare föreläsningar fick man bilden att bokenss innehåll inte stämde så bra med det vi skulle lära oss och att mycket av innehållet mest var relevant för USA. Öppnade i princip inte boken men fick 5:a ändå. Egenkomponerat kursmaterial/kurspärm hade känts lämpligare.» (Small extent) 8. The purpose of the "exam question hand-in" was to encourage you to read the course litterature earlier in the course. Good with freedom in the handins.» - Yes» - yes it"s really useful.» - It was certainly necessary because of the low quality of the course book» - I is according to me a good way to start read the literature early in the course» - Yes, to some extent.» - yes i think that it is a very good way of making the students read the literature before week 6. and you could keep up in the lectures better when you had read in the book before.» - Yes, even better would be totally individual handins. (I"m not sure that all group members participated equally in the writing process).» - Yes. It made you learn more during the course.» - Yes» - Is a very good idea, although the book is some times difficult to understand as some times the formulated question was not approved by the lecturer, meaning that the information was not properly understood.» - Yes it did, we had instructive discussions when we were looking for a good question in the literature.» - It was better than not having them. You started to think about what to learn earlier in the course.» - most probablly yes» - yes, good for overwiew» - yes,I think so» - Yes. But why not smaller groups. Genomsnitt: 2.95 - The load is not even. For example, the workload of Avix exercise is too heavy, while others are not that heavy. » (Adequate) 15. How was the total workload this study period?22 svarande
Genomsnitt: 3.5 - Even though the simulation course project work is extensive the period is quite peaceful :)
You could either take advantage of this and make your course more troublesome or just be pleased with the fact that the students have a lot of time studying your course (and therefore, hopefully, gain a lot of knowledge).» (Low) Summarizing questions16. What should definitely be preserved to next year?- the PPA excercise was great!»- The hand-ins and the different tasks. I really liked the study visit so that should be preserved to next year.» - The weekly hand-in question.» - exam question hand-in. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Nothing really.»- The workload should be more even over the seven weeks.» - The size of the AviX exercise and the course literature.» - Some extra time should allocate for Avix exercise» - The content of the teaching was interesting, but could sometimes be to formal with to much information. It would have been better with more interaction between teacher and students.» - The lecture about investment is a little bit bored.» - Maybe reduce the number of assignment, focus on some aspects and require even higher quality.» - Some lectures need to change the speaking pace, at a too slow pace and certain tone of voice the students lose interest in the lecture as they get sleepy.» - More exercises and fewer lectures because it was sometimes hard to find relation between the literature and the reality.» 19. Additional comments- This course is quite good.»- Wouldn"t a system were the most active/driven students (in terms of good exam questions, good assignments and high degree of participation on lectures) are being rewarded by a opportunity to select company to visit?» - Try to gain attention from students by bringing interesting cases of study and making students think. Like the SAM exercise were students gave their opinion and idea of how to solve the problem.» - Sorry about the late hand in, I got the e-mail in my junk mail.» - I think that Peter should not push so much on details as he did when it comes to assesing the exam hand-in questions.»
