2. Was it easy to follow the lectures? Do you feel that the lecturer presented new material in a good way?*

- Sometimes yes, sometimes no.»
- Too high speed on the lectures, but otherwise quite ok.»

- In general, I think the lectures were easy to follow. Sinisa has a good structure when presenting the material, which makes it easier to understand. One thing to bear in mind is that it would be very beneficial if advice for the tasks could be presented earlier. For example, for one of the tasks, Sinisa gave advise on how to prepare the presentation on the lecture 2 hours before the presentation. But 2 hours before the presentation, everbody have already prepared their presentation, so then the advise does not help. This was just an example, but similar situations have occured several times during the course. »

- Not genuinly interested in teaching but rather informing us that the subject is really tough.» (Not good enough)

4. What could be improved with the lectures?

- Concentrate on the really tough parts and do them thoroughly, leave the easier parts to the students.»
- Mer organisation, dvs inte skriva omvartannat på tavlan utan alltid ha en rödtråd. »
- Because of the imporatancy of the course, the number of sessions should be increased. »
- It should be more clear what should be noted down during the lectures and what is already included in the lecture notes»
- It"s hard to get an overview of the course from the lectures. I think a rigid approach would help with that.»

- Explanations too short» (Ok)
- In some important derivations quite a lot of steps were either unclear or skipped. » (Ok)
- The teacher should go through them and fill in some missing gaps, otherwise they where really good.» (Good)
- Sometimes there was discrepancy between lecture notes and lecturer.» (Good)
- Some parts are missing though. For example, the "proof" that (hope I remember this right) quick scheme is 3rd order accurate is not in the lecture notes or in the book, even though it has been asked at an old exam. Also, when reffering to equations in the book, if you don"t tell the numbering according to the latest version (which you recommend) the referring is useless. Update this.» (Good)

7. Did you get enough help with computer exercises from the exercise teachers?

- I consulted the exercise teachers twice, Jelena both times, and she did not have a clue, the first time she gave us the wrong answer and we used two days to figure out what she meant, and then it was clear she was wrong. After that we chose to solve them ourselves instead.»
- No, I don"t think that some of the exercise teachers were skilled enough for the tasks. Often when we had questions it turned out days afterwards that they had answered wronlgy.... Some of them seem think that the only Matlab code that possibly could be correct is their own...»

- Varying quality, Mohammad was very good though.» (Ok)
- The performances diverges a lot between the different exercise teachers. Mohammad did a great job, he is very skilled and really wants us to understand. I would like to give him a higher grade. The other teachers I don"t think are skilled enough for these tasks. » (Ok)

- As with Matlab/programmering tasks, one little little fault in the code somewhere can take days to find!» (Good)
- I think the tasks improved my learning progress in a very good way. The tasks also inspire to try other things than what is required and learn more.» (Good)

10. What could be improved with the tasks?

- The way they where presented. It was good to a presentation, but I think that the teacher should also do a presentation. In this way, the teacher can point out the important stuff etc that we maybe mist.»
- That after we had done the presentation, we should get a confirmation if we had done the task in the right way.»
- For each chapter of the lecture, there should be a task but some of them should be elective.»
- One task should deal with the simple algorithm to solve for a velocity field»
- There are many tasks, but I would prefer to have everything done sooner. Week 7 should be for the exam.»
- Should have given deadlines for the reports of the tasks, and receive feedback of the reports a week afeter or so. Because it is better to know if one have passed before the exam, so one can change the report before the holidays.»
- One thing that could be improved with the tasks is the general information about the tasks and the organisation around it. For example, in a lecture you presented a further point to be solved on one of the tasks, but it was never written on the homepage or announced in any other way, so those who were absent from that particular lecture never heard about the extra point to be completed. So if you make adjustments to the tasks or have advice,I think it would be very good if you could put it on the homepage.»
