Genomsnitt: 3.75 - I started on the course, but found the earth science part so lousy i dropped out of the course after three weeks. The lecturer is definitely the worst lecturer I"ve come across at Chalmers. His lectures were just full of equations, which he never explained the use for. A total lack of good structure and no ability to create interest in his subject.» (25%)

- Hans-Georg"s lectures are unfortunately often hard to understand. He can be a bit unorganized, often scribbling all over the board back and forth, changing things and not explaining what he"s doing.» (Some extent)

- ES: group work/home work»
- Astrophysics is very interesting and Magnus is a great lecturer, very helpful and taking time to explain things in detail.
Hans-Georg"s subject matter did not really captivate me but he did a great job with marking up the homeworks, giving each student personal feedback. The InSAR project was interesting.»
15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- The lecturer in earth science»
- ES: more organized please, e.g. right from the beginning a list with the groupmembers»
- The Earth Science lectures about plate tectonics and stress don"t give much lasting value to the vast majority of students I think. I believe it would be more worthwhile to spend a larger amount of time on climate questions since that"s very relevant at the moment. Either that or give a more "basic" introduction to plate tectonics and other geophysical ideas.»
