- The lecture notes really needs to be digitalized! Many parts are hard to read and if they are digital it makes it much easier for you to improve them from year to the next.» (Small extent)

- No plan, no information about when next assignment should be handed in. Maybe all example sheets could be released in the beginning of the course. It would be much easier to plan the course. Maybe a course informtion document would be good.» (Very badly)
- Some information was only given through a mailinglist which I as a last years student wasn"t part of. All information should be availible through the homepage!» (Rather badly)
- Nice if exercises are posted well in advance of deadline (3 weeks or soo).» (Rather well)

- Good and interesting course content. I only attended the first two weeks lectures, and on those lectures the content were not made as interesting as it could have been. I can do the math on my own, on the lectures I rather want to get an intuitive feeling for what the equations mean and how to interpret them.» (Adequate)

17. Additional comments

- Best course I have taken so far during my 7 semesters at F. It is nice to develop mathematics with understandable examples as a guideline. Good mixture of analytic and numeric methods. »
- I would like to point out that the lecture notes were of a very high quality: a lot of references, calculations and exemples. Very detailed. But more than that, the home assignments were amazingly complete. Very good examples and problems. on the other hand, the lectures were maybe too formal. The "biology" part of the course wasn"t always obvious. »
- I don"t think that I learnt so much from the home problems and sometimes I didn"t even know what the problem was about but regardless I was most of the time able to solve to the problem. And despite this I got the grade 5. Also I think the correcting was a bit harsh sometimes. For example I got 1 point deduction because I forgot a minus sign in one of my calculations.»
