- I think this course is difficult to be examined in, because I think it is important that you have understand the whole planning process and I do not think the questions are representative if you understood it or not. » (To some extent)

- Sorry to say, but the way the problems were dealt was not of quality standards. The person did lot of mistakes while solving the problem and never really thought the practical point of view an instead solved the problems for just solving it. - the IT guest lecture, the last one was good. It gave an insight in to day to day life in a company which is what is required at this stage. There is no use if we still stick to text books and do something which really is not used at all.» (Small extent)

- Rather good. It could thou have been less assignments. Its better with one good assignment that you can dig into instead of several you have to rush trough ending up in a poor result.»

- The workload with the assignments was to heavy, which meant that the possibilities for own litterature studies was not enough. It became very stressful in the end before the exam, especially since the exam was on the first possible exam date.»

- OH!!. Very hectic and tight schedule. Can it be made in to 15 credits? The subject is really good and forms the basis for people like me who would like to go in to Demand planning i guess. It would be better able to study the subject thoroughly rather than just studying from exam point of view.»

- The topic is large and it was challenging to get a holistic interrelated view about the area. The excel study was very good and Volvo presentation also. Maybe some more case examples from the real company during lectures should help the learning of overall processes. »
- Everything gave different perspective within the same context»
- quite good. Better mix would be nice though. Not two guestlectures in the same day and then alot of days with stig-arne and patrick. I also think that the assignments could all be scheduled one or a half week earlier. so there would be a bit more time that is "your own", not needing to see groupmembers (ie have a lot of booked up time)... at the same time, if the exam would have been a bit later, than it had not been the feeling.»

- Only one suggestion. Can the questions asked by the swedish students be answered in ENGLISH so that the other stdents around would also gain some knowledge. After all the purpose of coming here is to gain knowledge from all sources and it would be good have english only in this case. NO HARD FEELINGS, understand it is a bit difficult but sometimes the swedish students start discussing in Swedish language and makes it really difficult to follow half coversation.» (Very good)
- i did not ssek much help, but this group who took the class is great, a very nice climate. also you teachers have been available and answered questions when needed.» (Very good)

- The second and third assignments were vary good with respect to the learning. The third could have been done earlier though. Can´,t put my finger on what it was but it was too many cases this period.»

- The company visit with the process focus felt quite pointless, but maybe that was much because of our company.»

- Start with the first seminar earlier. The accumulated workload was OK but uneven distributed.»

- Maybe one assignment less. And the exam was really hard, in comparison to what the focus have been on the course i think. The book is good, but there where not enough time to actually study for the exam. But even if so, there had been hard to get a good grade on the exam, since i experienced that a lot lot harder than all other assignments, calculation excercies etc that have been related to the course. The time aspect together with hard questions gave the result that i could not even answer a lot of questions, due to time. »
- some chapters were covered much more deeply in lectures than others while all of them were part of the exam almost the same.»

- the EXAM! still tooooo difficult! I mean, it is not easy to show that you have acctually learnt and understand the course material in this kind of exam! First it was too many questions and secondly, the questions were quite tricky!! »

- the amount of assignments without getting a grade. It takes a lot of time to write papers with the foreign students. Their English is often inadequate and it takes longer time to rewrite their parts than to do it yourself from the beginning.. Let people choose their own groups and grade their performance.»

- this does not feel nice to say, but linea need to improve herself when giving lectures, especially calculation lectures. coparing linea and violeta from the freight corse, it is like comparing night and day. violeta is very structured and very clear when she show calculation exercises. »

23. Additional comments

- There were not enough time on the exam. Ofcourse you could manage to answer all question if you would know them before, but it is quite stressful to take exams and it would be appreciated if one had at least 5 min just to think about the question before one need to answer. Too many questions and too little time!!!»
- The exam timing was not suitable for the load of the questions.The points were not allocated reasonably. 3 calculating problems with several parts each, is not suitable for final exam. »

- I think the assignments definitely should be a part of the examination to a greater extent than the extra point system. This since we put very much time on the assignments. I feel i did not have time to study the other areas during the period, just after the last assignment was finalized I started to read for the exam... The assignments were to heavy. Also, the exam was too long! I did not have time to answer all the questions and leaved questions unanswered...»

- Maybe add some lectures or more information related to global supply chain planning. I have seen some of the previous syllabus with these topics but now its not.»
