- Johan is very help full but Morten has not shown any interest in this course, what so ever. He has been constantly staring at his computer and didn"t even listen to our presentations. This was most obvious when he failed to book a room in Äran and took another teachers class room and when this teacher arrived and started accusing the group presenting for taking his room Morten didn"t even notice, thus sitting in the front row. It took him about 1 minute to figure out what was happening. I have never experienced such lack of interest in students ever. Why is he even attending? » (Some extent)

- Read above» (I agree partly)

14. Regarding Course presentation environment. How could the teaching environment be improved? Explain briefly.

- Well, the course homepage could be up to date so that we didnt had to read all the information for the past year.»
- During seminars only two groups are actively participated in the discussion , I think the final exam should be divided into sub parts related to each week"s seminar and everyone in the class should write a small essay about that particular week"s assigned papers in every week. So that people do not lose their interest in the lessons and they don"t have to write the home exam from scratch at the end.»

- Divide up in smaller groups would make the learning better.»

- Very outdated and uninterresting articles. Most of them were 10 years or older. The articles offered no or very little help to the projects. »
- It did not work. Only the two groups that were actively involved in presenting and asking read the papers. The rest just sat the time off! »

- Smaller groups! No real discussion arose when in full class.»

18. How would you rank the active participation of the teacher during seminars and supervision? (on a scale of 1 to 10)

- 1, if there was possible to give an negative number on this one I would have done that. Agian, obviously it was more important for him to write emails on his laptop. And interupt the students while they were talking.»
- 6. I think the teacher should have given us more feedback correlating our project and the ubiquitous concept»

- Unorganized and not focused.» (Poor)
- The project work was fun and I learned a lot, but the articles and lecture seminaries have learn me nothing, just given me more extra work and made me stressed.» (Fair)
- It"s an interesting course and we got to do some really interesting projects. BUT, the poor management on the webpage and Mortens lack of interest was really annoying and unacceptable. Bookings where "lost", pages missing, dates incorrect, times where changed with little notice and the frustration among the students over this was high.» (Adequate)

33. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The teacher..»
- Seminars" structure»
- Take away or decrement the number of articles! 1-2 per week, maximum! Instead of articles the seminaries could be about different ongoing projects and researches in the Ubiquitous field, which would have been a lot more interesting and actually made me listen and learn something. If the seminaries wouldn"t have been compulsory nobody would had come to listen. »
- The reading seminars»
- I don"t think I need to state this again.»
