- I really think the teacher needs to get better at english and giving presentations in english. This is a more important part for the lectures then that there is put down any work changing the course for next year.» (25%)

- Seemed to be a very big focus on algorithms using synchronized physical clocks.» (To some extent)
- I think it"s wrong to say "after this course you should know these algorithms", and then have an exam that checks your memory for those algorithms. In the future we won"t write algorithms from memory, but rather seek after a good one. It would have been better if we had more focus on different types of distributed systems, pros/cons and then detailed examples of a such. I feel that I just memorized some stuff, but didn"t learn anything really. » (Yes, definitely)

- Really dull course. Hard to understand what I was supposed to learn. Slides have to be structured better and contain a whole lot more info!» (Poor)
- It felt as though the course was a lot about learning things that you really can look up in a few seconds using google. I would have liked it to be a greater emphasis on understanding and using different technologies rather than memorizing them step-by-step. » (Poor)

- more clear in the lab materials, maybe some test cases provided for testing the lab assignments before we handed in.»
- The laboration descriptions _must_ be more specified, and better written. The code that we work with must be better written, now it is both in english and swedish and does not follow any standard at all. Sven-Arne should learn how to hold a lecture (in the end, only about 5 students showed up for the lecture), and how to write (and speak) better english. »
- may be some more variety in the assignments (lab 2,3,4 are more or less the same)»

- The exam have to be more questions, can"t just be 6 questions with 10 points each. Especially if there are a, b, c questions. How many points are each answer worth? How much do I have to write to get full point etc.. And please, give us solutions to the exams so we know how a answer should look like!!»
