- The exercises were different, which i guess is good. if you needed help you could go to magnus, if you wanted demos you could go to mitra.» (25%)
- In the beginning I attended, but later in week 4 I realized that neither of the course asistant could explain "why" and they could just explain around "their" solving.» (50%)
- They really have to be improved. Mitra need to slow down a bit and explain better. Magnus was explaining thing very good, but he should have done more exercises each session.» (50%)

- I think that since torsten covers only 4 chapters of the book and modifies the book a lot maybe he should give students some parts which he has added at least too.» (Small extent)

- The course Literature was very fussy and complicated. It regards you as an expert of the subjects and explanation to certain aspects are not mentioned or explained properly. » (Some extent)

- I find the book quite hard to read, but after a while one gets used to the language and then it is very helpful. It was very good that we were allowed to have a basic control book on the exam.» (Large extent)

- Since the teaching assistants couldn"t answer questions Torsten were very busy.» (Rather poor)
- TAs should have hand-in and exercises answered a few weeks before the students.» (Rather good)
- The reception time was at wednesday lunche, the same day as the exercises. The best would be if it could be another day of the week.» (Rather good)
- i preferred asking classmates rather than waiting for magnus" help at next exercise, which could be a week away...» (Rather good)

- High or too high. Both courses were very good and interesting so it was worth all the time it took.» (High)

- Important to note that the hand in covers CT while the book only deals with DT. When the theory does and doesn"t overlap should be pressed more.» (Robot arm)
- Torsten could have told us how big the preparation task really was. It took a lot of time to prepare! And the tasks in the laboratory took way too long time as well. We sat there for over 6 hours...» (Robot arm)
- VERY hard lab.. especially the last part. i didnt learn anything about kalman, as many of my classmates didnt either. didnt learn LQ either.» (Robot arm)
- The preparation assignment didn"t really help much in the lab. The teaching assistant had to call Torsten or couldn"t answer questions, very bad! » (Robot arm)

16. Did the assignment and laboratory exercise help your understanding of the course?

- Assignment and Labratory was really essential but I think it should be devided into two part one for PID and one for Kalman, So that we see them completely and at distinct time.»

- To some extent, the assignment was good but the lab could be more well organized.»
- Yes but I think it"s not a good idea to start the project in the last week of the course. It would have been much more beneficial if the project starting early in the course and moved ahead with the course. The project (in this case the robot arm) requires at least 3 sessions of lab work (2 hours each) to complete and fully understand. One 4 hour session is definitely not enough and student ended up just trying to get the project done without digging in deep what was actually going on. »

- I think that, We should work more on the Kalman Filter and put less time on repitions. »

- a little too messy on the lectures, and have to be more accurate in what he is writing on the black borad and saying. He is changing too much afterwards.»
- There should be more preparation for the robot arm lab in the assignment, especially for Kalman filter part. It is should be an additional task in home assignment, or just state this in the Lab PM. Student should derive all the equations before the lab, otherwise they will have not enough time on the Lab.»

- I was particularly satisfied with the extra literature presented on the webpage or in the kit. All in all it was a good course, however, as mentioned earlier the project could be scheduled in a better way.»
