- It was mostly just working on assignment. rest in the begining of the course it look very difficult just because i didn"t have had any idea before about index notation. but gradually got used to it and things were well enough explained in lectures. so less efforts required at home.» (Ca 20 h)

- But it needs a better introduction to index notations, maybe som extra small task on an hand out. The tricky part is not to understand the use of index notations in the lectures, but to make calculations with indexnotation was difficult (task 1 on the exam for example). » (Large extent)

I am use dto have a sheet of formulas with me at all examination,but with more difficult exercices. It takes time to learn formulas by heart, since we don"t really have time to learn them by practice.» (High)

The only new thing in the first period was the tensor notation, which was tricky, however there must be more things that can be introduced?
The second period was all new for me and I didn"t have time to study it enough so I am not compentent to evaluvate it in a good manner.
The third part was almost identical to the course in my undergraduate mechanics course (Hållfastighets lära F). » (Fair)

- Some "räkneövningar" instead of only computerlaborations in parts 2 and 3. »
- it"s not good to have the deadlines set so far away. tight them up and maybe drop a few questions so everything can be done in the beginning of week 6 (say monday). »
