- It was mostly just working on assignment. rest in the begining of the course it look very difficult just because i didn"t have had any idea before about index notation. but gradually got used to it and things were well enough explained in lectures. so less efforts required at home.» (Ca 20 h)

- that was only because i had no experience wiht matlab and i had to work harder for computations in mechanics to get all assignments done. and finally i managed to do al the assignments well in time. » (Less)

- i would like the educators to, in general, talk more about the physics and the nature of the stuff we study, rather than copying mathematical formulas (that are easily just given with a handout). » (Large extent)
- But it needs a better introduction to index notations, maybe som extra small task on an hand out. The tricky part is not to understand the use of index notations in the lectures, but to make calculations with indexnotation was difficult (task 1 on the exam for example). » (Large extent)

- it"s good for basic exercise, but the course part is not well explained and the notations chosen are weird.» (Small extent)
- The lecture notes cover almost everything in the course in a good way. I don"t think that the Mase book brings so much more, especially since there were printing errors in the book and it was not possible to get a new one.» (Small extent)

- The 3 last years I have not been used to have this much assigment,and learnig formulas is difficult for me. I am use dto have a sheet of formulas with me at all examination,but with more difficult exercices. It takes time to learn formulas by heart, since we don"t really have time to learn them by practice.» (High)

- There were not enough new things to learn, The only new thing in the first period was the tensor notation, which was tricky, however there must be more things that can be introduced? The second period was all new for me and I didn"t have time to study it enough so I am not compentent to evaluvate it in a good manner. The third part was almost identical to the course in my undergraduate mechanics course (Hållfastighets lära F). » (Fair)
