- Have not read the goals, but I think that the questions where on a to low basis. The only difficult thing was the PV-cells.» (To some extent)

- Teaching of almost all the topic was really disappointing. The course itself is just a brief overview of many important topics, which should be seen in deeper detail.» (Small extent)

- In fact, presentations given by the Professor (Hybrid Vehicles and Wind power) were not helpful for the preparation for the examen. There were more statistics than dealing with the subject itself. I would suggest to put more emphasis in the development of the topic than in the "motivation".» (Some extent)

- The lectures were not good. It is OK if Ola wants to borrow slides from some other professor, but he must read them beforehand and know what he is going to say. Also, one must ask what kind of prerequisites it is for this course. Showing the "carbon dioxide is increasing in the atmosphere"-slide seems too low a standard. » (Some extent)

- I only had questions about PV-cells before the exam. Went to Ingemar, he wasn´,t there, so I sent him an e-mail. He did not respond, so I had to call him at the same day as the exam. There should also be more calculating tasks for PV-cells, so that we that have not read electronicscan understand. It is not so hard to write down 4-5 tasks for the students to solve.» (Rather poor)

- There were no problems with cooperation. As the expectations of the level of detail in the projects was quite low, students are not motivated to do more than the minimum expectations» (Rather well)

- It was adequate, but I would rather spend more time on lectures and stuff like that than the "Scientific Work", which was a joke. » (Adequate)
- The scientific work feels to be just another project that takes time from other studies whithout giving anything specific to the course. I understand the idea of having it but the information about it has been rather weak and to produce a report on 10 pages at masterslevel requires quite a lot of work. This in combination with many other hand ins makes this part a bit overload.» (High)

- I was really disseapointed, it feels like the subject could have been handled in a much better way!» (Fair)
- Specially topics like Hybrid Vehicles and Wind Power need to be improved. I expected more from those topics since there are many research, doctoral students and professor devoted to those topics. However, this time lectures were more like presenting motivation than technical development itself. It is said that in the assignments is where you will learn about that, however I consider that in lecture materials should be presented the theory, and in the assignments they should be verified. I hope that in the future you improved the approach of those lectures. For instance, I liked a lot the presentation of Fusion because all the theory involved, environmental considerations, advantages and disadvantahes, state of art, were dealt very well, dispite I"m not a nuclear engineer I could understand very well the topic. Considering that students are from different programs shouldn"t be a limitant factor to give good and detail lectures.» (Fair)
- As mentioned before, I was expecting a lot much more of the course. I think that it should be well described in the course information webpage that it is just a brief overview of everything, not for student that are seeking for a more detailed study. - Absolutely need more precise informations. For example, figures given are not clear. Maybe, you should do 3 slides with ALL THE FIGURE (percentage) about worldwide/europe/swedish utilization of different energy sources (and updated informations).» (Good)
- I were of an idea that the course is so stretched it will be good if the students are mode to have a detailed understanding on specific topics like hybrid car, wind energy and energy storage. I think wave, fusion, solar are less advanced and there is nothing the student can get from learning them except if he wants to make research on those area.» (Good)

- The course litterature have to be improved. It is to thin and for most areas studier there were no litterature atcall. Rhe wind power paper is probably alright if you have an electic engineering backgroud but for me with mechanical background it was very difficult to understand. Hybrid paper was quite good »
- I think that the topics of Wind Power and Hybrid Vehicles should be treated in separate courses, maybe a couple of them for each topic, just regarding electrical stuff and applications. Maybe an extra one for wind power for mechanical, fluids and structural analysis. Chalmers had shown that there is a good knowledge in these 2 topics, and I know there are many PhD and PhD Students that could be good lecturers and tutors, so a restructuration or improvemente regarding this needs to be done by my point of view.»
- There was a flip chart/poster page at the wind turbine station that described the relationship between wind speed and tip speed yielding apparent wind speed. Adding that to the lecture would help. A short basic explanation of what equivalent circuits are, why they are used, and the review of basic element characteristics would help.»
- I need to make some boarders on the cource.It would have been helpfull if it focus mostly on wind energy.»

- More feedbacks are needed concerning the different assignments. I took the exam without knowing if my projects are validated, and more important, what were my mistakes in the assignments, so that I cannot do the same mistakes during the exam !»

16. Additional comments

- I would have liked to attend presentations from other students, but due to other classes, it was not possible. Maybe it would be good to post peoples reports and presentations for sharing, and/or maybe spread out the presentations over several days, but only 2 hours per day to make it more feasible to attend other sessions. I"d say at least half of what I saw had real value in expanding my understanding of topics that I would otherwise not have learned about.»
- All in all It can be said that the harmony between our lecturer and students as well as among students was very attractive and helpfull. And this type of learning methods should be kept in the future too. »
- more guest lecturers in specialized fields...however they should focus on their specialization and not on climate change and world oil reserves»
