- Some teachers were good. Others really bad. Tomas was really good. The virtualization was horrible as well as the stabilization parts.» (Some extent)

- I like midcourse deadlines. Like an assignment with a 1 week time to do it and then deadline. makes it easier to keep doing the things and not delaying it to the end of the course.»

- Definately our helpful teacher, the network security part and the LTE part. The LTE should be earlier.»
- less assignments and more student autonomy in choosing their projects and field of work rather than having to work on a subject which is not interesting to some students.»

18. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Assignments workload»
- The assignments need to be evaluated. Some took a very long time to do, mostly because it was hard to understand what to do.»
- Information. Would be nice to have a presentation of the course contents the first lecture, how many assignments, how many you"re supposed to hand in, what the assignments are about. Would be nice to have some mock exams before the exam to get a feeling for how the exam composed. Would be nice to have a course web page which both Chalmers and GU students can access.»
- thesis presentations must be changed entirely. they are not enough and not efficient.»
- Change the content! Please make the stabilization part more concrete. As well, do not overlap that much with other courses, such as the semi compulsatory courses network security and wireless networks.»
- Teacher should make sure class knows how to proof write.»

19. Additional comments

- It was not very nice to Erik Ström to put his lectures of the exam. It was a good review of communication engineering / wireless networks courses. And even though it might not be entirely in the network and distributed track it is nice to have some knowledge about it. Putting it of exam make most of the student ignore his lectures and if you want to do that he might not have those lectures at all. Although since alot of networks students seem to avoid communication courses it might have been pretty rough to put a summary of 2 full courses that they have no idea about into an exam.»
