- The multidisciplinary approach, in terms of students background, as well as teachers field of expertise. The fine mix of applications and theoretical perspectives. In my oppinion the course indicated in some way a GIS-methodology, in progress... to be further elaborated in relation to various scholarly scientific challenges and application oriented needs... »

11. What shuold be changed the nest year?- The lecture room is not satisfying. We need to hold the notebook so as to write some interesting things.»
- What I found very stimulating during the course was the various perspectives on and uses of GIS, i.e. both social and technological theories and applications presented and discussed during teacher presentations. Perhaps it would be a good thing to have a relaxed yet focused seminar half way through the course, fascilitating a discussion about the variety of applications and its underlying theories and perspectives? I assume that such an added course activity would support problem definition and choice of GIS-tool in connection to students project works. »
