It was a bit hard to find everyones roles and not all participated as good as one could have hoped for.» - We did not elect a project leader in the beginning which was a mistake. Vi hade problem, men när vi tog upp problemet hänvisade han till att han bara skulle berätta teorin om gruppdynamik. varpå vårt problem kvarstod. synd när vi ändå hade en psykolog specialiserad på gryppdynamik.» - No» - Not very. What do you think about the contents of your project in terms of complexity, difficulty and suitability for this course?- Good level, interesting work»- maybe our project was a little bit complex. Too many components to develop» - ligger i linje med det vi lärt oss.» - It was quite complex with too many parts to be developed in a short time (Waste Compactor).» - Very good, but the problem definition could have been clearer from the beginning.» - it was good. complexity at a level where we were able to focus on the PD methods as well.» - It was difficult but suitable for the course» - good.» - it was at a good level» - it was fun, so all difficulties were managed» - Very satisfied, being allowed the freedom to develop the work at your own rate and decide what you want to do and how far you would like to develop it.» - Very suitable» - it was quite more complex -but also interesting..- because companies boundaries were really lose, the scope of the project was very wide. even though both supervisor and company tried to take the focus away from achieving a prototype, there was a "social", "unofficial" pressure to get it. and in projects like ours, it was really hard to achieve. maybe the desire to get a prototype even reduced the quality and refinement of the deliverable idea and concept. » - To wide. We"ve been using a lot of old litterature that we"ve been studying in previous courses to a larger extent.» - mostly in the beginning of the project» - read a lot (because of the reflection report), but used very little to the project» - Personally, my use was limited as I arrived half way through the project. However the information gathered from other group members was excellant and detailed.» - Used it for mainly methods research» - was used as inspiration to choose the design methods to be used. it also provided structure for the writing of the final report.» - small» - I think it was useful for the Reflection Report. But the Reflection Report on the other hand was just somthing you had to do which stopped the real project work in a very bad way..» - To some extent. It was useful to have it though.» - A little - to get some references in» - more or less misused . as the kesselring matrices had different score at different point of time. project team was not able to accept that it was just a guiding tool , but instead wanted to change the values to make it look better » 25. How has the interaction with your company and your industrial contact person worked out?- A bit poor because of poor communication within the company»- We felt that they didn"t really care of our project (for example they didn"t even come to our final presentation) Our former supervisor in the company did quit so we changed of supervisor on January. Sometime they were long to respond by mail.» - mycket bra» - Not much communications and little interest from the company.» - Not very intense. The company should quite little interest in the project.» - ok, a bit difficult to get in touch with.» - Excellent» - very good» - Worked very well» - rather well, he was hard to reach sometimes» - very well» - Quite limited, Thule is a very busy company but anythung they did input/give was very useful and appriciated.» - Very well, meetings every few weeks» - was ok, but i still think some more commitment would be required (mainly reduce time for their answers to our questions to come)» - ok, but could have been much better. Biggest problem was the lack of time for the contact persons.» - Good in the beginning, worse in the end. Some confusion about who was our real client. We have got advice when asked for it. I think my ambition was higher than my teammembers though!» - Fully» - They are fulfilled on the project management point of view, but not from an academic perspective» - appart from effective ways to pretend to work , nothing technical as the project team did not want complications .» 30. Any other comments about the project, its contents and the work process?- Very interesting project, but very independent at the same time. More feedback on process and group performance from supervisors, company, project administers etc. are requested.»- Try to get more people to see the exhibition» - A very well structured project with a great opportunity to fully develop a product. » - The questionnaire at the end has too many questions.» - would have prefered an evaluation of total contribution in 6 months and not just the number of hours per week or the contribution on the final report (which includes only 10 of the total concepts furthur concentrating on only one idea )as few of the team memers may have a completely contradicitng effort which may have not reached the final report. » Lectures and reflection paper31. What do you think about the usefulness of having this kind of exercise linked to the project work?- Reflection report felt unnecesary at that point, better to include a reflection part later in the real report»- it is ok but I think we spent to much time writing the reports instead of working on the project» - bra» - The reflection paper might be good. Maybe our group took it too seriously though. We did not get any feedback and we didn"t know if it was going to be graded.» - Some lectures are relevant, but the lecture in Robust design we have already had in previous course. It would be helpful with a lecture in project management, how to divide roles in the group etc.» - ok, a lot of repetition from previous courses» - Not really to that extent. The usefull ones had already been introduced.» - not useful» - good to some extent» - Quite useful» - Very useful» - the lectures did not appear as a definitely useful tool, the reflection paper was interesting to write.» - I have had all those lectures before so for me there was nothing new.» - The idea is not bad, but I think the Reflection Report unfourtunatly interupted and dealyed the whole project» - Pretty good, even though it was unclear how it should be performed. In what way do you feel that the selected subjects are interesting and useful both for you personally and for the project work?- the lectures were 0on wrong level for us, we already had that knowledge»- bra» - You have heard the subjects before, but it is always good with a reminder.
