- The examination assessed more than what was in the goals. The whole question 7 of the exam was about connection patterns which isn"t even mentioned in the goals.» (Yes, definitely)

- the lecturer is not good in teaching skill at all! this is the important course which is necessary for all hardware design engineers! need to change the lecturer next year!» (Small extent)

- It would help if there where a better documentation of the Lava commands. Lava is pretty well explained, but there isn"t any documentation of the modules etc.» (Some extent)

- There were a lot of discussions in the computer room about the take home exams, so the cooperations seemed to work good. :)» (I did not seek cooperation)

- VHDL should either be removed from the course or there should be good supervision for VHDL also. I was sort of lost while doing to first lab I could see no one to get a good answer about my questions.» (Fair)

- Guest lectures: there are all very interesting!! some of them covers related research field which are going on in the Department, nice to know.»

- as a fresher regrd this course ,i found some difficulties ..but there could be labs session where TA could help student how to do ..and so forth»

- Extremely tough take home lava exam, especially for beginners to functional programming who are not used to it.»

- New teacher. Better exam questions. (Question 4.2 was about things that hadn"t been covered, Question 7.2 was more or less "Write the answer to one of the lab questions", without any description etc, this has already been covered in the labs)»
- Maybe we can have a lecture specifically about how to use the Gaisler method in VHDL coding, because that"s been widely used in this course. Or maybe some exercises covers the exercises appeared in the two papers(Hu"s and Seger"s). This could very much help us to understand about the content of the paper better. »

- In case the take home exam, is intended to keep the standards. There has to be sufficient introduction in terms of classes, exercises and labs, for a beginner to learn it. Thank you.»
