1. What is your general opinion about the course?

- A perfect course for me, the best so far at Chalmers.» (Great)

- Interesting topic. Although a bit too broad, too amibitious to cover many issues. It could be narrowed down. Moreover, the exam should be more connected to the topics actually discussed in class. I don"t see the reason to have halv the exam consisting of case questions since the work load during the course is already so focused on cases. It should be better to check the understanding of the frameworks.» (Good)
- I felt that the examination could reflect more of the contant in class. I feel that we where only given the tools and frameworks (30P = 50% of the exam)and we did have 3 cases. However i belive that having a few worcshops and practice to solve the type of cases given on the exam would be very good. » (Good)
- Quite heavy work burden in the course. I understand that master courses should be demanding, however if you just calculate the number of hours you have to spend per week you quite soon figure out that it"s ridiculous. » (Good)
- för mång case för att sätta sig in i dem ordentligt och verkglein lära sig något. dålig tenta, trkigt att man tjänar mest på att bara plugga slidsen, artiklarna kändes helt menlösa, som att man nästan förlorade på att lägga tid på att läsa dom. ämnet blir så mycket mera intressant om man uppmuntras till att sätta sig in i det ordentligt med hjäp av artiklar osv. nu han man inte det. ta bort ett case, ha en mer fokuserad tenta kanske till o med kort hemtenta så att man lär sig någonting, är så trött på alla kurser där man bara sitter o pluggar slides inför en tenta som går ut på att bara skriva allt man vet på så kort tid som möjligt, ges inget utrymme för reflektion. bra föreläsningar, energifyllda och intressanta.» (Good)
- Heavy workload, great lectures, somewhat overlapping previous courses when it comes to Porter"s five forces and also resource-based strategy.» (Good)
- Very high pace and workload, but good lectures and successful in learning objectives. One matter of improvement, Mats class on Porter as well as Maria"s class about innovation are almost exact copies from earlier MEI courses. Its fine to have these for the non-MEI students, but please warn the MEI students in advance so they can choose whether to attend or not. Ethos is lost generally for classes when some are perceived as unimportant, in my opinion.» (Good)

- Too much workload. It is a very ambitious course, which can be seen. However, the topic should be narrowed down and the efforts should be more focused, allowing the student to get more time to reflect over the material.» (Too demanding)
- Since the workload was very high the work should be more evenly distributed during the period, there was 1.5 weeks with no case to work on. This in combination with other courses makes the workload very uneven. Avoid having peaks so that student can study courses simultaneously and plan their time better. » (Too demanding)

- Interesting projects, but I felt that I had to spend a large amount of time on them, which kept me from reading the book/articles a much as I would have liked to.» (Too demanding)

- The first and third projects usually correspond to several weeks of work as well as a much larger chunk of the final grade. It is unfair to other courses to demand so much effort for so little points, and three times in a period, as slower-paced courses suffer.» (Too demanding)

- Very good information. Although information about results of projects could have been presented earlier.» (Good)

- Would have liked to recieve the results from the assignments much, much more earlier. Preferably, the result from assignment 1 should be published before the deadline of assignment 2 and so-on. » (Good)
- The return of the grade on the projects are still not posted on 27/3, way after the course ended, whereas at least the first 2 should have been published before the exam. This takes down the otherwise good perception.» (Good)
- Very bad that we didn"t get the results from the assignments before the exam and no feedback, then there is no possibility for us to learn and improve because we donät know what was good and bad. It should be feedback after each assignment and definately before the exam. If it was too much for you to correct then you did too large assignments. We have deadlines that we have to follow and it should be the same for the teachers.» (Ok)
- I am really disapointed that we did not get the result for Assimgent 2 befor the exam as you promised. This is a deadline for you that you should keep just as we have to keep our deadlines. This is expected from us and should also be for you guys.» (Bad)
- Still havn´,t got the result from Ass 2 and 3 even if we were told that we should get them before the exam» (Bad)
- 1) Should it take an entire period to get the grades from three cases. If you require students to hand in work, you should show the same respect and provide grades much faster. » (Very bad)

- All the articles where nice to read and were of relevance. Although I felt that the lectures lacked connection to the articles. They were not discussed during the lectures which they were supposed to be covered. And at some points, the lectures made references to other articles than those that were included. I would lika more coherence. And that the relevant issues from the articles are clearly covered in class.» (Good)

- When it comes to articles, I often feel that the time I have to spend on reading/deciphering them is to long in relation to what I actually learn from the article. It often feels lite the point can be made in a less time-consuming, more accessible way. Of course, as a masters student you are expected to be able to cope with scentific articles, but it feels like many students don"t prioritize them because of the time vs learning ratio. However, I really liked the Bhidé extract!» (Ok)
- Unnecessarily many, where some were obviously more important and some not referred to at all. Don"t include these next year.» (Ok)

- Nice tool to use and the project really learnt us how to use it and incorporate it into the greater picture.» (Great)

- Please do provide more specific grading criteriafor this project, as the one"s presented match up very well with project 1 but there IS a huge difference between 1 and 2. To me as a student its obvious you will not be grading them on the same criteria, so show this. It just looks lazy to copy-paste the same. The case as such was great.» (Good)
- The case was ok, but I would have liked to have it as a seminar instead. E.g. reading the case and some articles and coming prepared to class for discussing.» (Ok)

- Again, good to learn a tool and having to apply it to learn from that. Although this tool was a bit more difficult to use than the scenario analysis, maybe it should have been presented more clearly.» (Good)
- The assignment would be even greater if the product was a bit more exiting, toilet papers etc is not really fascinating. » (Good)
- Fun and creative! A bit short for time, working in paralel with ass 2 and ass 3 was not ideal. Also, a more specific template for what was expected would have been appreciated. Overall opinion on the assigments: It was unclear to what extent the reports were expecteed to contain heavy amounts of theory or not. If it ws the recommendations and creative ideas that mattered the most, or that whatever the result was, that it was crucial for it to be motivated by literature.» (Good)
