- The course book was fairly useless, the printouts from Cremona were all useful. The additional reading linked from the website was interesting, but did not help me that much with the course.» (Some extent)
- I didn"t use the course book much. But the lecture notes where good because they give a good overview of the course.» (Large extent)

- In extension to earlier comment, since the course web page and available resources didn"t match the expectations you set in exam, it can"t be viewed as well.» (Rather badly)
- It worked well. The only problem was some confusion as to when the labs were supposed to be handed in. The course webpage had mixed regular week numbers with the Chalmers study period week numbers without cleraly stating which was which.» (Rather well)
- studieportalen is no good, so therefore it is always good when courses make their own webpages, looks like it was made in the 80"s though» (Rather well)

Genomsnitt: 3.39 - Poorly, very, very poorly. The cooperation ended before lab1 was finished. I wrote entire lab2 preparation myself, and then I ditched the lab part of this course due to time constraints in my other courses and work.» (Very poorly)

- Course contents are mostly interesting, however many things are not directly related to operating systems.» (Fair)
- It"s a double edged blade really, that the context of the course seem to change to much to coup with changes in computer systems. It great it"s up-to-date, what wasn"t great was that you were left in the blind on the exam if you"d studied old exams since they don"t reflect new material and learn stuff that"s been cut.» (Adequate)

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Remove the Disk lecture (what does disks have to do with the OS apart from the driver), and the lectures about Distributed stuff. Info about deadlocks and synchronization should definately be shorter (you learn all of that in other courses)»

Nothing personal, this aint much worse than usual, but would be nice with people who is active in the OS field, make the course harder, the lecturers will probably feel like they are doing something more important than just giving the student"s another 7.5 for reading some book.»

17. Additional comments- this is the worst course ever i"ve been to at chalmers!!!it"s a nightmare.»
- This course covers a large range of topic, we have to keep the pace at 3 lectures per week. some content of the lecture is hard to be found in a specific chapters in the Course book. maybe too many topics in 7 weeks.»
