- Different for each lab. But some labs needed very much time ~45 h for one week. » (High)
- Our group worked well together so we managed good» (High)
- Sometimes it could be some days from 08.00 to 22.00 in a row and that"s hard to cope with.» (Too high)

- it is better to extend the time for submitting the reports, because an experimental Physics is a very much time-consuming course which prevnets you to spend your time for other courses which you have taken beside. » (High)
- We took Stellan Östlunds course quantum mechanics at the same time, which by it self occupied around 40h every week.» (Too high)
- I never had time to work as much as i needed with the course paralell to this one during this period and I more or less skipped it.» (Too high)
- The advanced quantum course beside tyhis course was very difficult and time consuming» (Too high)

14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- The format»
- Jonas Nordström and Christer Svanberg are the best supervisors i have ever had during my five years here.»
- Most of the labs I made were good and I learned a lot»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- maybe the exactness and sensitivity of the instruments because some times we used to stay for hours on one problem which at last we understood that was a system or instruments problem. it will be better if all the instruments to be checked before using by the students to save the time and not wasting it.»
- Sometimes the contact with the labb suprevisors didn´,t work, some didn´,t give any return on the reprot and graded them without explaning on what basis.»
- To somehow get a lower workload during the labweeks might be an idea. As it takes alot of time and energy if the experiment is troubling and the report must be written at the same time. Can"t think of any good practical ways of solving that though.»
- I did not like the ethics report we had to write. Did not feel that it contributed to the course»

16. Apart from the general course introduction, how useful were the introductory lectures for the laboratory work?

- i didnt get this chance to attend to the introduction class.» (?)
- Again, most supervisors gave good introductories» (I got valuable guidelines)
- But they were very interesting, we talked about ethics...i thing next year that should be discussed to a larger extent» (They were unnecessary (I had previous laboratory experience))
- Everything said was already in the lab papers, but the small introduction into statistical analysis is good to have, maybe go more into that like how to treat the uncertainty from peaks.» (The labs could have been done just as well without them)

17. Did the discussion on ethics in science (and writing an essay) give you some new perspective on experimental work?

- It is great to get that much feedback and the opportunity to hand in a return report. One learns alot!» (Yes, we had good discussions with the supervisors)
- Good feedback, although one of our supervisors did not know what we were suppose to do so we got critics I feel were wrong» (Yes, we had good discussions with the supervisors)
- Some supervisors gave very good feedback other did not, Mikael Kjellberg gave almost no feedback and he didn´,t care about the changes we did when he graded the reoprt... i think he had to much to so he simply didn´,t care.» (No, the feedback was not constructive)
