- Ganska tungt att ha 4 timmar måndag eftermiddag som enda föresläsning. Bra summering av kapitlen dock, brukar läsa föreläsningarna och boken parallellt vilket ger en känsla för vad som är viktigt.» (Some extent)

Genomsnitt: 2.55 - Handstilen var väl svårtydd och tempot lite högt. Problemformuleringarna var näst intill obefintliga och svaren saknade ibland enhet. Innan lösningen av talet påbörjas vill jag ha en tydlig problemformulering och gärna exempel på när ett liknande problem kan uppstå i verkligheten. Lista givna och sökta variabler och stapla upp hur lösningsgången kommer se ut.» (?)

- Tycker det var lite slarviga lösningar ibland. Det gick lite för snabbt att definiera problemet. Så man var itne riktigt med på varför skaer och ting uppstod bara hur man löste dem.

Genomsnitt: 2.77 - Lite tydligare instruktioner skulle inte skadat. Många gånger slösades flera timmar bort på struntsaker t.ex steg som inte framgick av instruktionerna men genomförts i tidigare övningar och liknande.» (?)

Genomsnitt: 2.88 - Själva uppgiften i sig var bra, men den onödigt omfattande rapporten och presentationen gav inte mycket. Då uppgiften var relativt liten fick man hitta på saker för att fylla ut de obligatoriska rubrikerna i rapporten. Att sitta i fyra timmar och lyssna på samma presentation sju gånger var inte det mest produktiva man kunde gjort med sin tid några dagar före tentan. Övningsledarens frågor och diskussion mellan presentationerna var dock lite givande. Om detta moment kvarstår i framtida kurser så tycker jag att deadlinen borde ligga minst en vecka tidigare. I stort sett 2-3 dagar strax före tentan gick åt till rapport, presentationsförberedelser och presentation. Om de dagarna spenderats på tentaplugg hade oddsen för att klara tentan ökat markant.» (?)

12. Comment the scheduling of lectures, exercises, and computer exercices- Dåligt med 4 timmar föreläsning på raken.»
- Inga konstigheter. Lite segt med 4h föreläsning. Men inget som spelar någon roll egentligen.
Jag tycker att man skulle kunna lägga in en övning till i veckan.»

Genomsnitt: 3.61 - Under datoruppgifterna gick det utmärkt att fråga om hjälp. Men uppgifterna tog som regel minst dubbelt så länge som den schemalagda tiden och då var det ju svårare att få hjälp. Även när man fastnat på ett tal i boken var det inte alltid helt lätt att snabbt få hjälp. Kanske skulle ett till schemalagt tillfälle där man kan fråga om datoruppgifterna och talen i boken en bra ide?» (?)

20. What should definitely be changed to next year?- maybe you should change the questions. There should be more theoretical questions and not a lot of derive this etc. People dond´,t usually remember the equations but they remember the theory (the meaning behind)»

- Computer project. Skippa monsterrapporten och redovisningen! Dessutom behövs fler gamla tentor och svar till tentorna. 4-5 övningstentor med utförliga svar hade lyft den här kursen från okej till jättebra i mina ögon. Ett häfte med typ 100 teorifrågor som tentateorifrågorna plockas från hade varit bra (som i strömningsmekaniken).»

- I thought the Computer project was not good. The presentation we were supposed to to was unnecessary. Handing in a rapport should be enough, extra work and I did not learn anything from it. I also think that there should be 3 Computer exercises instead of 4. Then it is possible to finish the project in the last week and not just 3-4 days before the exam. Was stressful to have hand in the last week.»
21. If you also attended ENM025 - Energy conversion / Energiomvandling, relate the two courses.Was it good/bad to take both courses? How can we improve the relation between the two courses?- It was good to take both courses. But the course in Energy conversion could focus even more on heat exchangers and power production and put less effort in the theoretical parts concerning boundary layers etc. which are much better dealt with in this course.»

- I would have liked to go to more lectures, so I ended up doing most of the work at home.. (or maybe not). the time I stole from the other course to come here payed off every minute, so I made the best possible compromise I think.»
