- I think Its a good book but it should have provided more details about each concept. another thing is I think it could be better organized.Btw I read the book and I learned from it» (Average)
- Even though the book contents are really solid, chapter organization could be improved a lot. One now has to move back and forth between chapter text, appendixes and example in order to study.» (Good)

- I mean. If you have seen last year"s exam a student was expexted to score 25 and the number of points available were more than that. This year the points are 25 and we are required to score 25, that is rather tight. The exam also even if it was 4hrs...I needed more time. Q # 5 was rather more mathematics. I think the grading schem should consider that. [This student obviously misunderstood the grading scheme. 17. Is there anything you think should be changed until next year?

- This course is named AI2. By "2" I imagined that the topics are more professional and advanced in AI. However, this was not the case. Most of the topics were introductory. I think if the same topics are taught in more advanced levels that would be much better.»
- Put exam earlier. More time for exercises. Perhaps have more lectures each week and end course before or just shortly after the christmas holidays.»
- The way of teaching. written exam doesn"t make sense I think.A good project as a final exam is more helpful and beneficial for students I think»
- More real use cases of each method before its related lectures could be helpful.»
- The home exam can be accompanied with some laboratories where some help is being provided. This way a little more home work can be added which could increase the practical learning outcome.»
- More exercice classes...on programming too.»

18. Which areas do you think need more emphasis (or less emphasis) in the course?

Topics covered: Evolutionary algorithms, Particle swarm optimization, Ant colony optimization, Artificial neural networks, Biological basis of EAs, Matlab programming.

- Home problems were very helpful to understand the course, they can be given one by one for each week or once in two weeks.»
- practical implementations and the results of different optimization methods compared together. So, the students will have more ideas about what optimization method to go for in case of different problems.»
- I think ANNs should deserve more space.»
